great little stay, nice Pub/Hotel, locals are friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent, East Linton was a great little village, with a watermill and Dovecote walk to explore. but be warned it was very hot day when we stayed, so we had the windows open, the village church/clock nearby its bells ring on the hour from 8am to 11pm and the East Coast main railway line is close too, so the trains rattle through till late, it did not bother us we found it a bit of a laugh tbh.

The breakfast was very nice, and it was nice that the hotel was very close to the train station, made going to Edinburgh easy.

Habitacion limpia. La numero 5 era super pequeña no te podias mover con las maletas. Mobiliario y colchon antiguos. Cafe y te en la habitacion. Secador de pelo. Desayuno caliente servido en mesa. No tienen parquin.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was even smaller than the pictures showed. It would have been better as a single, rather than a cramped double. The hotel we stayed in the night before, was less than £20 dearer and the bedroom was five times bigger and the bathroom six times bigger. Rather over priced for what they are offering.

Inget varmvatten i duschen första 10 minuterna, sedan så lite vattentryck att det inte gick att tvätta håret (korthårig). Helt kallt på toa/dusch. Spelningen fungerade dåligt, ingen ventilation i rummet. Gamla sängar, billigt sänglinne. På toaletten vid baren var det rent vidrigt, helt ostädat och stank urin. Säger.4-stjärnigt hotell- jag säger 2- stjärnigt vandrarhem til priset av 4- stjärnigt hotell.

We had a lovely stay at The Linton Hotel. The staff was great and super helpful and their full breakfast was so good! It is an early breakfast during the week, but it actually helped us organise better as we probably would overslept :P Rooms are clean and quiet. All I could hear was bird songs in the morning. We did book 2 different rooms during our stay as we went away for 2 days and back to East Linton. Some rooms can be small but I do think for the price and location, it was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable. We slept very well. There are wonderful walks around East Linton and we look forward to come back and stay with them. Thank you.

Breakfast menu limited to cereal and cooked ,no continental and seemed rushed not encouraged to linger

Great little place, accommodations were ready & clean upon arrival. Breakfast was good. Heads up on limited parking in front, but additional street parking was available.

Room was clean & met our needs but shower was disappointing- no pressure & a bit of a dribble

Stopped here for a couple of nights for work. The room was a decent size with a big bed and everything was clean The shower pressure was really poor but nothing you cant work around Breakfast and the evening meals were really good and the benefit of the pub on the front was nice for a chilled evening
