This is a well-run pub, popular with locals. Breakfasts are very good and evening meals are available every day. The bed was very comfortable.

Clean room, lovely food and good service. A quirky pub with some lovely features made all the better by the staff.

Overall great value accommodation in a lovely Town & great friendly pub. Decor a little tired in places. I was in room 6 & just a bit disappointed with the lack of shower gels/shampoo, ‘loose wallpaper’ & the shower itself was very temperamental-with a too hot or too cold control. ( I should have mentioned this on departure but didn’t) Food was good & overall charming & with bits of tweaking would be even better.

An overnight stay in a delightful pub, well appointed, comfortable room, excellent full English breakfast and very friendly and welcoming manager.

Biggest problem was being unable to turn heated towel rail off during hot nights. Food is basic pub grub.

Great little Inn. Staff were great and room lovely with very comfortable bed. Evening dinner was very good as was breakfast. Great value for money would definitely stay again.

The Royal Oak is a traditional pub with a relaxed atmosphere while still being well organized. Our room was clean and very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. As for the staff, they were charming and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. Thank you.

Autentisk ophold på ‘Cornwall inn’. Rigtig god mad.

Restaurangen och personalen var verkligen den stora behållningen! Musslorna var fantastiska och frukosten den mest välsmakande jag fått i England! Rummet var litet och med lutande golv/säng. Bra badrum. Tyst och lugnt trots pub- och stadsläge. Återkommer gärna!
