stayed at Aloft Panama for three nights and it worked perfectly for what I needed.
I picked it because I’d had a good experience at Aloft in Playa del Carmen, and now that I travel with two dogs, I prefer sticking with places I trust. They’re truly dog-friendly here, with a $22 per dog per night fee, which felt reasonable.
The location is convenient — not far from the airport — which makes arrival and departure easy, especially with luggage and pets. The staff were friendly and quick to help. There were only a few towels in the room at first, but after I called, more arrived within minutes.
The room was clean, sheets fresh, and the bed very comfortable. My view was city with a partial ocean view, though a cement rooftop took up most of it. Honestly, I didn’t mind — I had a busy schedule and wasn’t there for the scenery.
Breakfast at Red was fine, simple but enough to start the day. I also appreciated that they don’t make guests wear bracelets.
My dogs were comfortable in the room and loved walks to Omar Park nearby 🐾. The pool is small and located at lobby level, but good enough for families.
Overall, it’s a practical, comfortable option for busy travelers — especially those with dogs. I’d stay again.
