My first time to Italy, arrived from cruise port. I have no idea about geographic location of either the port, the hotel or even Rome. Turn out it is about 20 min from the port and 45 min from Rome. Hotel staffs are friendly and arranged taxi transportation from the port to the hotel. Hotel is next to the beach with private deck for Sun bathing. We spent a few afternoon at the bar enjoying my drink and ocean breeze. A perfect place for relaxation.

Terrible beach, actually not a beach, rocky and unpleasant, very unfriendly staff by the "beach" and in the resturant. Rooms and beds are fine but very difficult to find parking.

Everything was top service, rooms were always cleaned, the staff very friendly and helpful, food was amazing and of course the rooms and the AC was great!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ville Delle Palme and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Marinella. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm welcome by the reception team, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Every member of staff we met was lovely—from the housekeeping team, who did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless, to the restaurant staff, who were always smiling, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was one of the highlights each morning. There was a great selection of fresh, delicious food, and sitting on the terrace with the stunning sea views made it even more special. It was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel has such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s clear that everyone who works there genuinely cares about making guests feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely stay here again if we’re back in Santa Marinella. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so memorable. We highly recommend Ville Delle Palme—you won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel provides beach chairs, gel shoes and towels for a cost at the cement platform because of the rocks. The surrounding area outside the hotel is run down, no fault of the property. It is pretty inaccessible. Train was a nearby commuter, with no room for luggage, and the desk told us only one taxi for the town. Cost $200+ for a driver to take you to the airport from here. It might be better to rent a car and pay to park it. The hotel itself was nice. Be careful to specify ocean view if you have a balcony room.

Hotel is located in a beautiful seaside location. Rooms were a little spartan but were a good size for Europe. Air conditioning was excellent! Included breakfast was continental but had a nice selection of fruit, breads and pastries. On site restaurant was very good will exceptional of the sea. We enjoyed our stay!

Best hotel of a two week trip - wish we did one more day

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything was immaculate. It sat right on the water, with beautiful ocean views. The staff was so helpful, answering questions and arranged all of our transportation. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the resteraunt on site served the best grilled octopus we have ever had. We only stayed one night but I want to stay much longer. It was the perfect spot to stay before a cruise, I wish we had more time to enjoy this beautiful hotel.

Small functional rooms for one night. Very clean. Great pre-cruise location for Civitavecchia. Hotel organized taxi from airport and shuttle to port which worked out great. Lovely staff.

Prima hotel voor een paar dagen. Locatie is mooi maar er is niet veel leven in de omgeving behalve een opgespoten zandstrand waar het buiten het seizoen al druk is. Restaurant van het hotel zag er uitnodigend uit maar toen we daar in de avond gingen eten viel het tegen. Sfeer was er niet terwijl het een prachtig uitzicht over de zee bied. Eten vonden wij niet bijzonder lekker. De bediening was niet attent, ongeïnteresseerd en meer met elkaar bezig dan met de gasten. Ze waren wel vriendelijk maar brachten eigenlijk alleen het eten en vergaten de rest. Ontbijt was in buffet vorm en verder prima.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was nice, clean and we had a garden balcony. The rooms facing the water would have been ideal and whoever those lucky folks were, I’m sure enjoyed it. The view from the dining area was breathtaking! You need a reservation for dinner so we missed it. The menu looked very appealing though. Breakfast was light fare with coffee, tea, croissants, cereal and fruit. The coast line where the hotel sits was beautiful, straight out of a movie! The staff were super nice and helpful. The hotel arranged for a transfer from the airport to the hotel which made everything very easy for us. The driver was excellent and got us there fast and safely. The other guests were just as nice and friendly. We walked to the boardwalk, had dinner and enjoyed a gelato during the sunset. It was quite picturesque and memorable. The hotel arranged for our transfer from the hotel to our Royal Caribbean cruise making that just as easy. Had I known this was going to be my hotel experience before my Mediterranean cruise, I would have booked an extra day at this hotel! Believe me, several of the other guests said the same thing. This hotel is just what you need right before and after your cruise to catch yourself.
