Nice hotel with good breakfast. Quiet and have a good view for our room. Need to improve hot water supply and upgrade wifi for guest rooms.

Spacious off-street parking behind the hotel. A warm welcome and efficient staff. Clean, neat room and ensuite. Lots of hot water, soft towels. Comfortable bed. Nicely cooked breakfast with excellent eggs, bacon and toast, coffee and juice (other options available). Staff deserve a special commendation - there was an unexpected power cut in that part of town in the morning, but they managed to serve an excellent hot breakfast with no fuss or delays. Thank you!

The bathroom was a very tight fit with a tiny basin. Shower not working easily. A good mattress Good cooked breakfast but had impression that we should continue our conversation with our friends upstairs! Staff could have engaged a little more in conversation

Limited choice of food .Crockery was not clean.Staff uncommunicative.Parking at the rear of the property was difficult because of parked cars there was literally inches either side of our car and the brick wall. Will not return and will not recommend.

Reception not welcoming looked miserable or helpful eg showing me where things were etc.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Free parking was a big plus. Easy walking distance to shops and Esplanade. Hotel was very clean but dated. Extremely low shower pressure in our room.

Everything was great, except the lack of pillows . The food was gorgeous, the rooms were lovely, granted the shower wasnt the best, it worked so ot was all i could ask for really (:

The hotel is close to the hovercraft ferry. I had to call someone to check in, since the reception is not staffed all the time. I was traveling by bicycle and they have a shed for safe storage. The breakfast is chosen from a menu with a few options. Restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away. The shower had very low waterflow.

Friendly staff. Room clean but shabby. Could do with new quilts and covers.

We liked everything about this hotel except for the water pressure in the shower. The water came out extremely weak. It was frustrating to shower because you could barely get wet to wash. Had it not been such a hot, sweaty day, I would have skipped the shower.

The TV was very small and poor quality and the shower head needs changing in Room 19. The breakfast was good and the location was convenient for public transport.

The Dorset was ideal for my stay. Comfortable bed and room, good breakfast options and quality, lounge area with tv and bar. Parking at the hotel an added bonus. Have stayed here before.

My room was comfortable though basic and the hotel is in a great location for Ryde just being minutes walk from the hovercraft and the town centre. The staff were really noce and friendly and the breakfasts were amazing! If I come to Ryde again, I would definitely stay here.

We found the property comfortable and felt well looked after. The room was fairly small and a little tired in places, but was good value for money and convenient for sea front, shops, trains and buses. The weather was hot and we needed windows open, and the layout of the premises was such that windows of adjacent rooms were very close to ours - the residents of one room near ours seemed to think it OK to watch TV very late at night. A bit annoying but liveable with. The marmalade was very good, and we bought some to take home.

Staff helpful. Shabby needs a lot of work. Good location. Shower drain blocked.
