Beds not clean Spaghetti on the floor

Une vue magnifique,avec une cuisinière équipée, grande chambres avec deux lit double, c'est vraiment qualité-prix. J'y reviendrai.

The hotel faces Mount Avila directly, offering stunning views. It features a fully equipped kitchenette and is just a 3-minute from the restaurants in village. The room is spacious, with a newly renovated bathroom and brand-new flooring. Excellent value for money — I’ll definitely be coming back regularly.

The motel is rough the renovations are being to by unqualified people. The photos do not tell the true story

Place is outdated which is ok for a price, but room was very dirty. We found hair on bathroom walls, hair on a blanket and piss on the side floor of the toilet. We had no choice, but stay one night. I would not return or recommend this place to anyone. Location is great, fireplace is a nice touch, but they need to work on being clean.

Positive : The beds were comfy and water pressure in shower great. Cons : The building is old and outdated. No trim around bathroom door. Room smelled like smoke at times . Dirty ashtray sitting on ledge of window outside room . Bedside table chipped and damaged Overall lacked cleanliness and needs an overhaul.

They updated their property. The flooring is new, and the room has a kitchenette, which is very convenient for families. The new owner is also very nice. I highly recommend it!

Poorly maintained, needs major renovations, staff couldn’t understand French or English.

One night stay while biking the local trails. This is an older building but very well maintained and equipped to prepare meals in the room . Clean, comfortable and one of the lower cost hotels in the area. A bonus is Jean-Marc at the desk. Pleasant, personable and will respond quickly to any questions or issues you have.

Easy to get to & from town

Not value for money property, probably worth half the listed price.,, Grimm staff… check in & out was smooth and easy. Room was old and outdated. Not great but ok for half the price listed for!

So this isn't so much of a review as it is a warning to fellow travellers. I was robbed here. Despite the fact that this place is creepy, dilapidated and unclean, I also actually paid 2 nights in full and didn't even stay here. The reason being when I arrived here, the hotel (motel) had no power. Which is fine, it happens, but when I asked for a refund, I was denied and treated very disrespectfully. I even called the police on the lady at the front desk, who was hiding from me in the basement because she was avoiding me. I've never experienced anything like this in my life. Avoid this place at all costs.

After reading a few negative comments, I was a bit worried before arriving. After consideration, sure the place is a bit stock in the 80’s, but it was very clean, quiet and we slept well. The beds are double beds, which could be small for tall people but they were comfortable (I prefer hard beds than soft mattresses). The place smelled clean, no cigarette smell. We didn’t hear anything all night. The lady at the desk didn’t speak French but this isn’t something that bothered me, she was polite and was trying her best. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, we had business to attend to and were only there one night.

already at check-in I was not impress as the person there was not able to speak one word in French (this is in Quebec where your main market speak French) I am good in english and I always speak in english when in other provinces of Canada, it is a form of respect. once in the room it was not nice looking at all for 160,00 $ per night and it was very cold. it took 3h to get at a comfortable temperature. you could feel the cold air from outside comming from every tiny holes in the walls (not insulated at all). and then in the bathroom, there was not heated at all and there was a humidity bug in the bath .. you can see they don't care about the place, they just want to make money.

Clean, close to village and highway. Wifi hard to figure out. Phone didn’t work in the room. Manager/owner friendly.
