It was fine, bit hot and trafiic noise but it isJune and on a main road

Was ok for a short stay but few things did have issues with. Room as way to warm and things were not fully cleaned. Having a kitchen area was nice to have. Not sure I would recommend or stay again

Nice hotel, but we heard a lot of traffic (police and other cars) and as it was a double room we expected two chairs as I had to sit on the bed to have my breakfast. Other than that it had a clean room, nice staff and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Value for money

Noisy drunk singing in next room and poor sound proofing impacted what would otherwise been a decent stay.

Lovely friendly staff. Generally the facilities are good with the exception of the work area. The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. As a woman who travels alone for work, i feel incredibly safe there with the hotel having cctv in public areas and someone on site all the time. The bar area is very pleasant and welcoming. It will be my go to place, when in in the area, from now on.

Close to the museum

We had no problems with cleanliness,a few additions would make a stay better,a little lamp, another chair if you want to eat at the table rather than the high stool in our room.Better flooring in the bathroom would improve things, possibly a fan for warmer temperatures.

Only stopped for one night but room was ready on time and reception was very helpful with directions. Room was very clean and tidy

Well-located hotel close to major attractions like the Black Country Living Museum and zoo/castle. Quick, easy check-in process and room was as described on arrival. Availability of kitchenette facilities in room is a major selling point - a big Tesco and assorted dining options are also available within walking distance. Cooking facilities are limited by lack of knife/cutting board, meaning microwave/kettle are main means of preparing food. Utensil drawer contained tin opener, spatula, and butter knife/fork/spoon. Decaf tea available, however - much appreciated! Window opened for fresh air. Floor boards squeaky, making keeping the noise down challenging, and walls thin. Noise from nearby road (bus/emergency vehicle route) also considerable. Bed a bit soft for my liking, but clean and otherwise comfortable.

Sehr großes Objekt mit einem guten Pub, alles da was man braucht, viele Parkplätze nur durch die verkehrsgünstige Lage auch etwas laut. Dies könnte man mit Erneuerung der Fenster deutlich verbessern.

You park your car, walk to the hotel & hit with the stench of someone stood smoking a joint. Big no in my books, imagine trying that one in Singapore! 10 years & so it should be. Hotel - please deal with this. Hotel seen better days, zero atmosphere, room was ok. Pillows like rocks, Bed awful, no bedside light. Sound worse from outside. Sirens throughout the night. No glass in bathroom to use for water..teeth brushing etc. kitchen facility was ok.

Nice place for a nights sleep

It was my birthday weekend and had a lovely time

Great location, comfortable and clean, kitchens in the rrooms,overall a lovely stay. Would we return, yes we would.

Friendly staff comfy clean bed just wish there was a restaurant on site. Had to go to a local pub but will be better prepared next visit to use in room facilities. Didn't know about reported ghosts they left us well alone 😁

All staff were friendly when interacted with. The room we stayed in was very dated and cleanliness wasn't great (the bed was stained as was the mattress) There is a lot of noise from the road which was a little bothersome at times. There is modernisation works in place at the moment which I believe will improve the hotel slot

Somewhere tonstsy for the night

Lovely room with fantasic kitchenette. Highly recommend. Stayed with family after a day visiting the Black Country Living Museum.

1.) carpets are dirty 2.) heater wasn't cold enough and stopped working at midnight 3.) sound proof - I can hear the next door guy speaking so clearly 4.) room window is not double glazed cold breeze coming through and sound 5.) I am so unhappy
