This hotel was in a great location, the staff was very helpful, a bit noisey as you are so near the harbour but that cannot be helped.

Utmärkt rum men en del oväsen från restauranter och barer runt hamnen, som man har en fantastik fin utsikt från den lilla balkongen med ett litet bord och 2 stolar.

The staff was very friendly and helpful on helping with taxi’s. The breakfast was also very good and a nice table area. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The hosts at Nostos Hotel were immensely kind and helpful, sourcing trip info, timetables, and booking taxis. The building was full of character and beautifully decorated. Location was incredible with gorgeous balcony views (being on the harbour front meant there was noise into the evening, but the vista across the water was unbeatable). Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed for 5 nights. Pros: The hotel is located very central. All the shops/restaurants are around. The staff at the reception are very helpful from the instructions how to get there and booking some excursion. Cons: the rooms needs a lot of TLC. The room was never cleaned, not the floor neither the bathroom. Not even changing the bedsheets, only the towels. The toilet isn't flushing at all. The walls seem like they are made of paper, you can hear everything from the other rooms, the reception and everything from the street and the restaurants (literally every conversation).

A lovely little hotel about 2 metres from the harbour! I was greeted by a super friendly gentleman on reception who showed me my room and gave me a map of Chania Old Town. There is a cute balcony/ veranda where you can see the harbour from the hotel. Beautiful to watch the sunset from. My room was perfect for just me, the only thing to mention is the bed is up on a separate floor and there are some rather steep steps to get up to it. If mobility is an issue, this might not be for you. Other than that though, I would recommend staying here - you come out of the hotel right into the hustle and bustle (and an amazing restaurant on the doorstep!) but once you’re in the hotel, you have peace and also aircon!

We had a great stay at Nostos Hotel. Very central location close to several shops and the harbour, clean rooms, and the owners were very kind.

Loved the properties old charm. We booked a seaview room which overlooked the old harbour and the vibrant dining areas of the area.

We Loved this hotel! The owner was very nice and Aria was so fantastic to give us advice on beaches, and assure us that the drive was easy! Thank you, Aria! The hotel is SO comfortable with excellent AC and is located on the cutest street / pathway in Chania. Note: we knew nothing about parking so we parked in the closest spot we could find, walked to the hotel to check in, then reparked at a dirt parking lot not too much farther (that we knew was legal). Easy!

Best location in the heart of Chania. Traditional and cozy hotel with a delicious home made breakfast. The view to the port and the lighthouse are the best. Many nice restaurants and shops all around.

The location is fantastic, right on the front at the old harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful with rubbish bins emptied daily and bed linen and towels changed regularly. The building dates from 1400’s and it’s quant and quirky which we loved. We chose a sea front room with a balcony and were delighted with the fab view. The only disappointment was the Wi-Fi as it wasn’t dependable. However, all of the tavernas and restaurants that we visited had free Wi-Fi. We intend to return to Chania and NOSTOS will be our first choice.

We vonden het uitzicht vanaf onze kamer met balkon geweldig. Lekker zitten en genieten van de bedrijvigheid in de haven. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Verse jus d orange bij het ontbijt. Midden in het centrum gelegen. Alles perfect.
