When we got some paper napkins to clean the chest of drawers where the TV was it came away very dirty! (I had noticed it wasn’t clean). Same with the side tables. The carpet was also unappealing - old and stained as were the decorative cushions - one with a very large stain.

Staff were lovely. Breakfast beautifully cooked. Our room was amazing, bed very comfortable but the room was not as clean as it could have been! Some very dusty areas!

Very nice room with a queen sized bed. Clean and well presented and separate from the pub which meant it was quiet. Hottest day of the year highlighted lack of a/c or fan. Would have liked more power sockets to charge phones etc but overall good accommodation, suitable tea and coffee making and complementary biscuits. Breakfast was good, full English available buffet style. Nice pub and reasonable food for dinner. Great location for Bluebell Railway and Sheffield Park Gardens. Village shuts down Sunday evening though.

The room was super, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were excellent and were very attentive.

Loved the pub, was really nice and some of the staff were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing, not much fruit , breakfast was cold even though was under heat lamps. We stayed in room 1, first impressions looked lovely, however when u looked deeper, around the front doors behind curtain cob webs. Cob webs behind bedside tables. The blind in the bathroom was full of dust. So overall the cleanliness was very very poor. Bed very uncomfortable. Needs a really good overall.

Bull is a great pub, quality drinks and food. The accommodation is self contained, quiet and of a good quality/standard. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed. It was far past its best and needs to be replaced, very hard, lost its shape and has springs poking out…. I am sure that I had the dodgy room, so rest of the place will be amazing! I would definitely come back, but hope to get another room…

Lovely stay at the Bull. Very helpful staff members who gave me the key to the room at 10am (as I was going to a wedding until late). Room and breakfast were nice. Would stay again!

Sadly we had to book breakfast over the phone the previous night,that is any one picked up the phone, we realised this when our answer phone message wasn’t passed on . It felt like the owners really didn’t care for their guests and didn’t want the hassle in dealing with them. The poor young lady was coping well with the problems thrown at her but we definitely will not be staying there again.

The room was superb, staff excellent and courteous, facilities were excellent, my only comment would be that the breakfast was luke warm and very limited on choice

Great property and excellent dinner however breakfast was disappointing. ‘Buffet’ style (on a very compact warming display) consisted of food options which were cold or at best just warm.

Beautiful village and nice pub. Staff were great and parking was easy and fairly secure. Room was basic and quiet with en-suite, very reasonable price. Nice breakfast :-)
