我係自駕遊位置就冇問題，早餐及晚餐好吃，有私人風呂。

入口隱密,一開始誤入別館大門找不到接待櫃台,後來才發現入口處,空間安靜私密,接待人員服務親切周到,接待區及房間視野都面太平洋,日間風景佳,房間泉質純泡完膚質滑順.備品為ACCA KAPPA品牌,冰箱除了兩瓶冰水還有預先泡好的冰茶,電視為連網電視非常方便,房內盥洗水槽是少見的全實木製,相當有價值感;用餐空間都是獨立的包廂,雖無隔音但包廂用餐較為自在,唯餐飲內容原以為標榜"料理宿"所以會有驚豔的表現,但實際上就是平實的表現,除此之外,整體都符合期待!

The onsen is really nice. I like the welcome drink.

陽台有個人湯屋，屋外綠蔭盎然，隱密性高。餐點多樣而美味。只是交通比較不便，到達飯店需請飯店接駁。

The hotel is very clean and beautiful. Staff is professional and caring, they will contact you early for preparation and to ensure you will have a comfortable stay in the hotel.

It is pricy but definitely worth it. The food is so good and the room is very new and clean.

First they offer Shuttle pick up/drop off at near by Train station, so if you have 2-3 large luggage like me, it's very convenience to travel by train (note the local train is very slow ~ half an hour ride for 5 stations) The hotel is great, classy, high-end, with very authentic Japanese decor. The hotel gives you feeling that only you are living here as there is no common space other than the front lobby. Both dinner and breakfast are pretty nice, multiple course and can make you full. (although there are few dishes that I didn't like, but overall it's good) The onsen in your room is pretty nice, you can adjust water temperature as you like.

It was an excellent stay for 2 nights, just too short! Only the concern is the location is not just nearby the station, BUT as you got free car pickup and sending service, and could enjoy the quiet beautiful view, then what can be complained more? It was really relaxing trip but just too short! Will come back with family again!

This's a great Japanese style hotel, workers are all nice, the room is clean and tidy.But as I lived in the smallest room "小湧KOWAKU" this time, the view is not good in fact, so I would book a higher quality room next time. Finally, it's a great hotel and anyone wants to experience a Japanese style hotel, this would be a great one!!!

Great stay for a family of four with kids 4 & 6. A calm, relaxing property with friendly staff and tasty Japanese food options we all enjoyed. Kids loved the Onsen bath in the room & wearing katana to dinner. Shuttle bus service was brilliant. I’d recommend taking some small activities to dinner for the kids as it can be a 2hr sitting.

The room was spotless and the staff was very nice! We had a wonderful time!

Kyuan is not simply a place to stay; it is a place that quietly retunes you. Set on a wooded slope above Gōra, the inn unfolds through narrow stone paths, dim corridors, and sudden openings of light that frame moss, cedar, and drifting steam. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere signals that this is a ryokan devoted to composure rather than spectacle. Sound seems carefully considered here. Footsteps soften against tatami, water murmurs in restrained registers, and even the dining rooms feel acoustically balanced, inviting conversation to settle into a hushed, contemplative register. The entire inn feels tuned like an instrument. The kaiseki cuisine is both precise and deeply seasonal. Mountain vegetables, delicate broths, and subtly grilled fish arrive with quiet confidence. Nothing shouts; everything resonates. The pacing of the meal encourages lingering attention rather than hurried consumption. Rooms with private rotenburo baths offer a rare luxury: time that thickens and slows. Steam dissolves the edges of thought. You begin to notice the cedar’s scent changing as water cools, the faint articulation of night insects, and your own breathing gradually aligning with the mountain’s rhythm. Service is gracious and attentive, yet never performative. You are not “managed,” but gently accompanied. Kyuan excels not through opulence, but through attunement—a place of recalibration that reminds you hospitality, at its highest register, is quietly composed.

Traditional ryokan in for the night was lovely! Room was very traditional and staff were polite. We had breakfast and dinner which was interestin. The views and private onsen were lovely and I felt very relaxed there. Only improvements would be to allow luggage storage/transport to station and cleaner onsen.

Wonderful, relaxing, stay at this Ryokan. If we knew how great this was we’d have stayed longer.
