As usual lovely freindly staff room lovely size only let down was tv signal was shocking and no lift so climbing all those stairs is a killer

Pictures on app are not reflcted in the actual rooms. Looked stylish and elegant in app, was dated and in need of some repairs. Cracked tiles in bathroom, cracks on bath and toliet cistern, window handle was so loose I was worried about pulling window shut when we ventured out for a walk. Strange configuration as well where the door to the room opened into the hall way rather than into the room. Was obvious when we went in. Bathroom light cord literally in the middle of the dorway. Did it do it’s job? Yes it was a room for the night, but do not consider it was a value for money.

Was ok .. 👌 but we felt a little expensive for what it was to just sleep. But we didn't explore the hotel fully so cannot comment but it's in a great location and the hotel itself was good. Just the room 2 was a little needed of TLC.

Fabulous friendly and clean. Able to check In early and had a lovely clean fresh room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Was amazing to wake up to that view and sit there and watch the storm!! Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Pleasant room with a view. Bed not comfortable. Ordered breakfast but the chef decided to close the kitchen early. Not impressed. Free tea coffee etc from reception

Absolutely Awful Stay – Avoid This Place This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Where do I even start? • No lift, despite the building having multiple floors. To make matters worse, there was just an old mattress blocking where the lift should be. • No air-conditioning, which made the room extremely uncomfortable. • Walls were dirty, and the room in general was dated and grubby. • The hallway signage to the room was barely visible or helpful. • TV was tiny—honestly, you’d get a better viewing experience from your phone. • No bedside table, and the bed kept sliding toward the filthy wall. • The toilet was so close to the sink, it was nearly impossible to sit properly. • The bathroom had no door handle, the hook was falling off, and tiles were coming loose. • There were holes in the walls and crumbling plaster throughout the hallway. To top it all off, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and I could feel the springs poking through. I barely managed 3 hours of sleep and ended up driving home at 6 a.m. just to get proper rest. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

Superb views from our room, although room was a little dated it was very clean and comfortable, excellent value, we did not try breakfast as it didn't fit with our plans but it did smell good.

Bathroom was so small it was more or less unusable.. Noisiest place I have ever stayed … never slept a wink

Window was broken, unable to close. Extension cable supplied electrics. Not told sockets didnt work. Bathroom door didnt close.

The shower had to be mended as it didn’t work, tv did not work , room not very big .

Been coming to Hastings over the years and this was our first stay at the Lansdowne hotel and we have had a lovely stay. Lovely room great facilities, nice view of the sea, looking forward to staying here again.

No much to dislike about the Landsdowne Hotel- good value for the money.

I thought this hotel offered a good value stay in Hastings. It provides everything you need and is in a great location, less than 10 minutes from the station and right on the seafront. I think the room would benefit from some updating - my mattress was uncomfortable and a little threadbare - however, the view from the window and balcony of the sea was beautiful!

Simple hotel but a very good location. Perfect for me. Nice view from the room.

Good view of the beach and the sea. Amazing location. Breakfast was great. Radiator in the room didn't work properly. Hair dryer wasn't functioning. Plug points were not accessible from the bed. Had a great stay. The hotel was at walking distance to all the tourist attractions and eateries. Room was clean and comfortable.

Great seas view our room was very nice well decorated,shower had issues with hot water and heating wasn’t strong enough in night and mirror had a crack in it but tv was great smart tv free WiFi and a lot of Charging points and a mini fridge was very handy would stay again 100 percent
