Free breakfast and dinner, convenient location

The hotel is in a good location, close to the city center. The cleanliness of our room was really poor. Quilts and beds are not very clean, bathroom shared cleaning needs to be strengthened

只能說一分錢 一分貨 不算很貴地點也不錯 就像一般背包客棧要共用浴室 只是住宿人真的極度多，人多非常亂 晚上也比較吵，對了沒有電梯需要自己搬行李上去～ 晚餐不用期待太多畢竟是免費的如果可以還是自己煮（有廚房）或是出去外面吃吧，因為算是很可怕(對於我自己而言 早餐也極度簡易那種不過是免費的也不強求了

房間很小，但所在位置很方便。

浴室乾淨 很熱鬧的backpacker 早餐，晚餐都不錯^_^

I payed over 100 $/night for a private room with a private bathroom. The receptionist told me there are no towels nor soap in the room and that I had to pay for the soap. I paid for it and found it and towels in the room. Then I had to wait in the line to ask for a refund. They refused to return the money or to give any other compensation even if it was their mistake, not mine. They were arrogant and rude. The receptionist said: "It wasn't me." I said no but it was your colleague and she said she's new. That was their response. The vegan food they serve was made from the cheapest ingredients but it wasn't bad. The free drink was a small glass of a low quality beer. You have to wash your dishes after eating! The location is on the most unpleasant streets of Victoria. All the homeless and addicts live there as well just outside the hostel. There is a window in the room that can be opened from outside.There is an iron gate on the 2nd floor. The hostel has a lot of bed places and all the guests go through that gate. I had a pleasure to listen to it constantly since my room was on the 2nd floor.

First time staying in a hostel and I feel like this was a great choice. We got our own room. They seem to realize prioritize making people feel safe and comfortable. Hoping every hostel I stay at is like this. They provided breakfast and also dinner which I thought was super cool. We only stayed for 1 night. They did a song bingo in the bar that was a lot of fun. The room was incredibly hot but it did come with a fan.

I was glad that I found this cozy affordable place right in downtown. I only stayed for 1 night so I didn’t expect much and they have all the basic amenities that I need. However, as I was having breakfast at the bar, a staff member asked for my last name and then saying “Because a long-term guest here is not allowed to have breakfast. But you’re all good” (?) Such a weird thing to say and that made me feel slightly discriminated. Other than that, this place is good overall.

Much better than expected. Great value for money.

Cheap price, but the noise from the road quite annoying, also not recommend booking in hot weather.

J'ai été surclassée gratuitement . Le personnel était très agréable et les parties communes amènent à rencontrer du monde facilement. Très bon emplacement. Seul bémol, les murs sont en papier, ce qui rend l'hostel un peu bruyant.

There's too much noise.

The mixed dormitory reminds me of my college years.

I really appreciated that they upgraded my room from a female-only dorm bunk bed to a micro room. However, the bedding condition was disappointing, as I found some stains on the bed from previous guests.

Not enough restrooms with ADA grab bars

This property is a hostel. It is NOT fancy, but it IS clean and reception tries to be helpful. There is a tv, but it requires a subscription. There are different kinds of rooms over four floors with no elevator. There is an older radiator heating system. The location was a selling point for my particular needs. I did not try the meals. The real negative for me was that I had to leave early and there was no refund, and no warning that this could be the case.

This stay went far far better than my last. The welcome drink and free simple dinner plus the breakfast with a Mediterranean twist were all such a nice treat, thank you. Actually, I thought the breakfast options were great! (I would have liked some crackers to go with the Mediterranean fare.) I ended up switching from the dorm room to a private room (bed and fridge only, no bathroom) last minute, so I can't comment on the dorm experience. The private room is small, not much bigger than a large storage room, but I already knew that having stayed here before. Walls and ceiling a bit thin, but I was so tired I slept through. Bathrooms appeared relatively clean, but by evening some were quite low on paper. When I woke up at 6:20am, I noticed they had been replenished. Thank you. My only negative this trip is despite informing front desk in advance (at time of booking and the day before) that I would be arriving later in the eve, I was getting messages while still on the ferry telling me check-in is only until 9pm (even though front desk is 24hrs). This was not a good feeling. Staff rectified their error in a very satisfactory way. So heads Speaking of staff, each one I dealt with were very kind and helpful. All in all a great stay, and while I had reservations about returning to this place, I'd now feel comfortable to come back.

Good stay, very helpful staff when it came to a kerfuffle regarding payment. Very convenient location, great breakfast and coffee.
