It is an older building rustic look, with that comes a lot of up keep. We had a nice room ,not fancy but it was clean and tidy. They served nice verity foods for breakfast was good.

So we came up for a birthday trip. The room was very dated and it was odd that there was no microwave in the room.. The beds were clean but the floors desperately needed to be cleaned and the bathtub did not drain. The free breakfast was ok but very limited but you can't complain for something that is free. Overall if you need a budget friendly stop in St Ignace this would definitely be worth a look.

We stayed in a lodge room and were unable to have any natural light. Our window curtains opened up into the hallway. The bed was uncomfortable which you could feel the springs. An old thin blanket was given. The shower did not drain and you were left standing in ankle deep water I would not stay again

The carpet could use a cleaning and the pool bathroom floor was dirty under the grate.

The only complaint I have was that we were there for 5 nights and never had our room cleaned and had to go to the front desk to get them. The property was pleasant with fire pits grounds were groomed nice

Breakfast good rooms need repair plumbing backed up in tub trees scratched my car noisy hard mattresses

This is an older property that is classified as a motel. It is in need of an update

3 brothers and wives and a trip to Mackinac Island. Hotel employees were friendly and helpful but the rooms were dark and dated. Bathroom was remodeled but old heater and air conditioner with rust made room appear dirty.

Average place. Loved the outdoor firepits

We enjoyed the pool and the firepits. The location was nice. The cost was WAY too much for the condition of the place.

Provided the most basic essentials - shampoo. /body wash - no conditioner /lotion . Coffee maker but only plastic little cups to brew coffee in , not mugs . After checking in , drove to building of room to see neither key would work- gentleman few doors down said his wife had to just go get there keys reactivated as theirs weren’t working. Breakfast clcomlimentaty was breads /yogyrt / bananas /apples, coffee . It was however very clean , comfortable beds , and very convenient location , walking distance to ferries. Front desk staff friendly. .

The location was nice and they had a nice pool. The continental breakfast was great with hot options. The second floor had a weird smell in the hallway and the toilet didn’t flush

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean and warm. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was okay. The rooms could use an update.

Amazing staff

We stayed one night on 7/1/25 at Cedar Hill Lodge before taking the ferry to Mackinac Island. The condition of the hotel was quite outdated and the room smelled musty. The breakfast was decent and filling. The location was great. My main concern was that I had significant trouble breathing with increased allergy and asthma symptoms while staying in the room. The next morning, I noticed what appeared to be mold on the wall of the bathroom (see picture). On check out I reported it to the front desk person and asked to speak to a manager. He took my number and said that he would have the manager call me. I never heard from anyone. A couple weeks later I sent an email with a picture to them and asked for a manager to contact me. I have not heard from anyone. While the price was reasonable, and this would be an acceptable property compared to others in the area for the money I would not recommend it for people with allergy or asthma.

Good location, easy to get to the ferry, nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. decent breakfast. Good value.
