We stayed one night with 2 older children. Staff was nice and gave us complementary drink coupon for each person including children. The apartment with upstairs bathroom and bedroom was a good surprise to us (with a balcony). The room was clean and spacious. Kitchen was well-equipped and maintained. However, the dining table was a too small. There were a few restaurants and convenient store located in the same area. Very suitable for family with young / older children.

Had a great stay here, will definitely be back. Great location the pub/tavern is connected to the building so not far to walk at all, there’s food options like red rooster, macdonalds, domino’s and some Asian food places across the road, there’s also a supermarket, bakery and news agency in short walking distance. Staff at the motel were super nice and lovely had a great chat, the room was a good size and clean, the bed is a bit too soft for myself but overall a great stay and will be back again.

A bit old and run down. Area not the nicest but convenient on highway and reasonably priced

Check in was quick and easy, rooms are dated but are priced accordingly. Close to shops, takeaway and CQU. Bistro a quick 1 minute walk. Noisy location next to busy road, Maccas and with a lot of rainbow lorikeets nesting in the trees making noise at 4am.

Comfortable bed, clean and tidy room, easy parking

The room was in need of a refurbishment. The shower was very poor and the bed was the worst I have ever slept in…I’d liken it to sleeping on a sponge. Very uncomfortable.

Close to Tavern for dinner. Twin room mattress needs replacing. Good value for cheap room rate

An overnight stay on trip to visit family in Mackay. Staff were very helpful with late arrival.

Total überteuerte Unterkunft. Toilette war total dreckig, Flecken auf dem Laken, alles vergilbt und veraltet, Bett durchgelegen. Haben uns gar nicht wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft gehört sich dringend renoviert.
