Valet parked and then walked everywhere. So convenient to any kind of food you could want! Shopping all around as well. The hotel is clean and quiet. And they even loaned us a complementary umbrella for the wedding we were attending that rainy day!

Staff is amazing.

It had been over twenty years since I have visited the Portsmouth, NH area and I was pleasantly surprised by this new development at Portwalk Place. The hotel was new and modern, and walkable to everything downtown,

Great location and great hotel. Room was very nice and clean. Great lobby to sit and relax. Breakfast in the morning was above average.

Wonderful stay! I would recommend it to anyone that visits Portsmouth or surrounding areas. The staff was amazing and the room was lovely.

Helpful from check in through checkout and beyond. Forgot a shirt and held it for me until I could get back to pick up. Staff was so helpful

Nice to be able to sit in lobby and play cards

We chose this location for the pool for our kids for spring break. Unfortunately when we arrived there was a sign that said the heater was not working and could use pool across street at residence inn. We attempted that, but they were doing constructing and the place was a mess. It would have been nice to know ahead of time the pool was not usable at the Hampton Inn. When we asked for a manager to call us no one did. Breakfast was not great- had much better at other HI’s. Overall a great location. They charge $40/night for valet as there is no parking on site. We found the Laundry garage a block away that is $20/day max.

Allowing dogs, being pet friendly was a surprise. I was very surprised to find out that there is not a specific area of rooms for pets only. And equally dismayed that there are no breed restrictions! While carrying coffee back to my room, a man with his Rotwieler was walking past me and the dog growled and lunged toward me. It terrified me. the dog was stronger than its owner!!!!

Very nice attention from Everyone makes you feel at home

Unfortunately our daughter was very sick and we ended up having to leave Friday night. I did not feel like hotel staff did much to try and help. And absolutely nothing is open in the area in case of an emergency (Walmart, CVS, etc.) so we ended up losing out on over $500 due to an emergency and having to leave. I asked if they offer a refund or credit and they said no.

Property was perfect for our trip-location is convenience as many places we went to were all within walking distance

Right in the middle of Portsmouth. Location is fantastic. Staff friendly and welcoming and breakfast was terrific. We would definitely stay here again.

We love being able to charge our car over night and to have a pleasant walk to our favorite restaurants. All of the staff with whom we interacted were pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable. The evening cookies were delicious. :-)

Very noisy!

Very clean and spacious rooms. Location makes it easy to walk to all things one needs.
