We stayed here for a week; with 2 day to arrive at the Gold Coast for fun. At first we were given a large room for 3 people. The place was big and nice; but the cleaning was average. But when we came back, we were given a room for 2 people. The 2-person room was not Problem. The problem is that there are many ants in this room. It must be improved. They walk around; in the kitchen; there are ants in the toilet and on the countertop. It is terrible.

It’s no Hilton but it’s clean, tidy and convenient .a good nights sleep and a cafe across the road for breakfast . What more do you want !?

This property is dated but clean. There are no lifts so be prepared to carry your suitcases up and down stairs. There is also no dishwasher.

Central accomodation and the Manager was so helpful and a pleasure to talk to every morning on our way out.

Loved the location, extremely close to shops and train station. Not sure if the room was quite worth the amount paid purely due to the age and basic set-up, but cant fault cleanliness and convenience. Will definitely stay there again.

There wss no information material in room. No breakfast menu. TV was local channels only, no foxtel or movies. One of the TV chairs was too filthy to sit on. The bathroom was nicely renovated, but the rest of the unit was from the fifties. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK.

Great for a few days as long as steps are not an issue. Great bathroom. Good size room with kitchenette bench.

Close to ferry and train, as well as shops. Parking very handy.

Property was extremely convenient and close to facilities. Staff very helpful and easy parking. The only slight negative is that the property is showing signs of being old and in need of some maintenance in areas but we would definitely stay there again.

The location of this Motel is wonderful. Access to shops and restaurants is excellent. The ability to take trains, buses and ferries makes the stay far more dynamic. The staff are very welcoming and happy to assist. The price is fine. The facilities in the rooms enables the guest to look after themselves and generate savings on meals. The bed was very comfortable and most welcome. The aspect that is starting to let the motel down is the general upkeep. The garden and surrounds need a good mow and clean up. A removal of rust and coat of paint would do wonders on stairs and around the pool. The internal doors on the bathrooms need to be taken of the runner, sanded and repainted. All that said, we love staying at this motel and only wish the owners all the best in maintaining the facility and a offering a great stay well into the future. Thanks.
