很有历史的一家酒店，也是入住后看餐厅里的资料才知道还有个鬼屋传说。闹鬼的马厩已经改装成大厅，还可以承接婚礼。周围是农场，很美，但是没有什么可转的地方。住宿的价格是非常实惠了，但是餐厅不便宜。菜做得很像样，进餐前在酒吧尝了杯scotch，好喝。

The outside garden is beautiful and dining area is very cozy. The room was clean but overall very very dated. Our shower had to be plugged in and switched on in the bedroom when our shower of course was in the bathroom. The fireplace is just a little electrical one which is fine but kinda takes away from the rustic feel when the rest of the room/furniture are more updated but cheap. I do think the pictures give it a different feel than in person. Overall our experience wasn’t bad and the staff was very helpful, but it doesn’t feel like any money has been put back into the inside of the property in many many years.

I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked on a whim to be close to St Andrews without St Andrews prices. Upon first glance my husband thought I was crazy, he assumed it would be run down, and not offer much because it was not in the city center. He sure changed his tune on that once we checked in. The room was so spacious and beautifully updated while retaining a bit of historic feel. The quant and cosy “Hayloft Room” was perfect. The garden bathtub was such an amazing surprise and big enough to fit even a large gentleman. Not something my husband is used to finding. The all in one duty manager Debbie was sweet and accommodating. She worked so hard in every aspect to ensure a pleasant stay for all the guests. The chef behind the scenes is a hidden gem. I truly had the best meal I’ve ever eaten. The Inspire Chicken. My husband had the Haddock Mornay and loved his just as much. Generous portions, cold drinks, and hot delicious coffee. If I had known about this place I would have planned more nights in the area. I cannot wait for breakfast. Ps. I promise I do not work here and am in no way affiliated with this Inn. The Inn at Lathones was fantastic! My room was spotless and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The amenities were excellent, making our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The road side room was ok …. But I will unfortunately not come back … Overpriced for what it is…

Good parking. Best restaurant of trip! Staff friendly. Room large/clean. Bed just not comfortable. It is in the country but pretty and quiet. Close to St Andrews and a short drive to other coastal towns.

Food was lovely and the service acceptable. Accommodation was very poor and not worth the cost.

Enjoyed my stay

The property and the room was very clean and smelled fantastic. The beds were very comfortable.

Pet friendly but they aren't allowed on the bed and it is very close to a main road so can't let your dog off the lead. Because it was very quiet when we were there, there wasn't much atmosphere in the restaurant but the food and service was very good.

Overall in need of repair and upgrading. Vanity mirror light broken impossible to do makeup in bathroom far too dark. Sink badly cracked.shower tray rocked! No soap holder in shower so all shampoos had to be put on floor. Laminated floors so badly layed that almost every floorboard didn’t just creak they screamed. Outer buildings and main building not been painted for years. We almost drove past it thinking THAT! can’t be our hotel it looked so run down and seedy. Obviously the owners, Inspired Hotels don’t know the meaning of the word inspired. We will never, ever stay in an Inspired Hotel again. They obviously don’t care and have no pride in their business. If they think this is the way to run a successful business, they are going to be sadly disappointed.

Enjoyed our break away at Lathones. staff work very hard to please their customers some people make it very difficult for them but they are always polite to them .I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel .Hope to be back soon .

Nothing fancy for sure, they need new mattresses and pillows. Fine for a short stay around st Andrews - not bad for the money
