Arrivés en bateau depuis le Mékong pour entrer au Laos, nous avons profité de cet hébergement au calme, avec une vue magnifique face à un sanctuaire d'éléphant ! Nous avons eu la surprise d'être surclassé pour avoir une chambre en hauteur avec Balcon pour admirer le couché de soleil.

Beim Frühstück fehlten nur Schinken und Käse, alles andere war perfekt! Shuttle super. Pool erfrischend, Lage herausragend‼️👍

Very poorly managed. No hair dryers. They literally act like you’re inconveniencing them by even asking… “you can come pick one up in the other building.”

Vue imprenable sur le Mékong, chambre fonctionnelle, smart TV, bouilloire, on déplore juste le manque de sèche-cheveu mais le reste était très bien. Petit déjeuner et dîner parfait. Service de pick up et drop off également.

Chambre cosy mais celles du RdC ont une vue sur le Mekong en bonne partie masquée par la vegetation. Bon restaurant

We thoroughly enjoyed our short but beautiful stay at this great property. With superb views of the mighty Mekong and 2 decks to enjoy them from, we were reluctant to leave our room. The bed & pillows were super comfy, making for a very good night's sleep. The staff made us hearty breakfast boxes for our early morning departure, plus free transfers were included from and to the pier to catch our slow boat. I could've easily stayed another couple of nights to fully immerse myself in the Mekong experience.

Nothing terrible but nothing stood out either. Nice views from the room but not worth the cost compared to the surrounding properties.

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich toll. Gleich nach der Ankunft mit dem Slow Boat am Pier wartet schon der hoteleigene Transfer. Dieser ist kostenlos und muss nicht extra vorbestellt werden. Dann gibts einen Welcome Drink beim Einchecken und für Gäste mit Exclusive Rooms einen erneuten kurzen Transfer zum "oberen" Haus, das im Prinzip eigentlich ein separates zweites Hotel mit eigenem Restaurant ist. Die Aussicht ist grandios, genauso wie das sehr feine Abendessen.

Wonderful one night here. We loved our room and the foot massages we got there. Our dinner was great and breakfast too. Lovely staff and all were very helpful

Caution…. The hotel did a bait and switch on me. What you see in the photos on Travelocity isn’t necessarily what you will receive. I booked and paid for a balcony suite. Instead, I was given a ground floor room. “Sorry, it’s already full.” Instead of taking any sort of responsibility, they blamed everyone but themselves. They even had the audacity to say that I was the first booking they ever had off of Travelocity. I would use caution before booking with them.

What a fabulous hotel is the Pakbeng Sanctuary Lodge. A stunning view over the Mekong River, beautiful rooms and a lovely bar/ restaurant. There are 2 areas, the lower with superior rooms, a restaurant and swimming pool, and the upper with deluxe rooms and suites, also with a separate restaurant. We were upgraded to a suite and it was luxurious. The food is lovely and the drinks cold. The included breakfast was tasty.

A beautiful hotel on the top of the hill overlooking the Mekong River. They picked me up at the boat and transported me to an oasis. This place was a great way to relax after my 6 hour boat ride to get there. The people that worked there were friendly and the view from my patio was amazing. I loved watching the sun set over the river. I only wish I could have had more time to enjoy this place before starting my second day journey to Luang Prabang.

Une vue incroyable sur le Mékong. Préférez les chambres à l’étage. Manager français sympa et serviable. Restauration menu unique correct. Un peu éloigné du centre mais tant mieux. Service de navettes.

Everything, except breakfast that was average and bellow what to expect

An absolute marvelous hotel overlooking the Mekong. If you're travelling down by boat either way make the effort to stay 2 nights and not rush off on the next morning boat. Be awakened by elephants trumpeting on the banks opposite. The rooms are plush and spacious the staff are exceptional,big thanks to Fon. Great management team. And Wendy Leggat who runs the elephant sanctuary is a gem. To visit the elephants is a must. Great pool. Very nice restaurant with a fine set menu plus breakfast is great. Highly recommended we didn't want to leave. Many thanks.
