The cabin was clean, the beds comfortable, tea,coffee and milk were provided. Our cabin even had a dishwasher. The gardens are immaculate. The staff are wonderful. I highly recommend getting up before sunrise, walking the few steps down to the river and watching the sun rise over the Tamar River. We really enjoyed our stay there.

All facilities were top notch

Fran was an excellent hostess & extremely helpful. Very comfortable accommodation, well equipped kitchenette & amenities. The location was great, nice & quiet & close to shops & yacht club restaurant. Overall was a really enjoyable stay.

The moment we settled in, we felt like we were on holidays. Very clean, well presented accommodation with all the amenities we could want. The heating was on when we arrived which was appreciated because it was a cold, stormy kind of day. Electric blankets on each bed, if required. Two couches and a single lounge chair, so plenty of sitting and lounging space. Large windows to capture the surroundings on every side of the cabin. Cabins are spread apart and have hedges and varied plantings to create seclusion and privacy. We had water views which created a good excuse for sitting and staring out the window across the deck. Washing machine, dryer and iron were very welcome accessories. Easy check-in and check-out. Lovely little walks along the river or tracks to the water and green spaces. Easy, short drive to Seahorse World, Platypus House, fishing, cafe’s, hotel dining, and the Post Office which sells a range of things, including bait, milk, bread and glue sticks, to name just a few things. Thank you to the custodians of this facility and the care they take to keep it well maintained and presented. We will return.
