Very good property.

Room is big, however is quite hot as no fan or air conditioner. So so noisy as the room is just opposite to the restaurant , so loud and noisy till midnight.

Attractive old hotel, no reception, breakfast at sister hotel round the corner. Room with. View overlooking castle, River and coffee cafe part of the hotel, in heart of old town.

Nice and clean but they have a reception at other location

Rustic room makes you feel that you are transported back in time into the old town of Cesky Krumlov. Room was cosy and well equipped with basic necessities.

Overall, the room is big enough, there is also bathtub. The floor was abit old and have some sound when you walk around. Something else to take note: hotel has no lift, if the staircase can be make better to prevent guests from slipped, especially if you stay at level 3 and need to move luggage up 2 floor. Corridor is using auto light which could have save electronic, but it make the hotel dark when nobody is walking. One major disadvantage the hotel building and room has no place for you to prepare or take hot water, this is particular bad during winter because every time we need to walk to the reception at Hotel EBERSBACH which is 3 min outside from Hotel Edward Kelly, just to take some hot water.

Super friendly, staff spoke excellent English. They let me park my motorcycle on their locked patio, which was a huge relief and quite a service for the tight confines of a medieval city. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Can’t recommend highly enough

Loved the room, but there are only stairs, the check in is at a different hotel so better get there before dark! The breakfast was great, but also at a different hotel.

Great location, close to everything. Surprised that reception was not at the hotel but at another hotel, wish I would have known in advance. No fridge in room and no air conditioning. Would not have been disappointed if it was a 3 star but expected more from a 4 star hotel.

room is big and comfortable. check-in is in other location not far, but, we met problem of card-kay not work so have to walk several round from room (at 3rd floor no lift) to the reception. finally with 3 times failure (and walk and wait), hotel called the maintenance and finally change to another room.

Locate in the middle of CK, a bit old but service was friendly and good. Because the age of the building, a lot of noise while walking on the wooden floor.

THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL. THIS IS NOT A TRUE HOTEL EITHER. No receptionist at the front desk. After calling phone number several times, waited for 25 min until a girl showed up. She hurriedly gave us room keys, pointed in the direction of breakfast, and LEFT. No further details on anything else (acess to bldg after hours, who to call if need assistance, wifi, room safe instructions, extra towels, room cleaning, etc). False description, there is no fridge in the room. And the bar downstairs is not affiliated with Edward Kelly. Room clean, but old. Saggy beds, torn sofa, nail heads sticking up out of floorboards to jab your foot on, loud bar directly across that will keep you up at night, and the street cleaners will wake you 7am sharp. THIS PENSION IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

nice location historic building..need to find parking...good access to older parts of the city

Breakfast was two blocks away in a restaurant which did not open early but did have good coffee and great omelette. Hotel was rustic with uneven pine plank floors and uneven sense of decor.

Can't reach the staff for check in althought I had email my arrival time(11:00) to store my luggage and get promise. Finally with the help of the Info center the staff appear at about 15:30. Room is clean and comfort but is noisy untill midnight because a bar is just opposite to the hotel. The included breakfast is excellent at a restaurant served by a beautiful lady.

Check-in time was 14:00 to 17:00, but no one was there. Ok that room floor was old, but not ok that it had splinters. Owner required cash payment. Great location, but I would not stay here again.

Waited 39 minuets for the only employee to check us in. We were told to get cash as credit card machine was not working. Only staff member left to go home at 4:30 and hotel stood open all night with no staff. No service, no staff, no security. Room old but marginally ok. Never book this hotel.

This hotel tried to trick me and also Expedia by requesting me to pay in cash the amount and after reconciled the booking as they never received any amount from me . I asked them several times to send me a receipt of my payment and i clearly ignored. Finally i found near Expedia that they reported the booking to them as if no one paid them! At this moment they apoligizing me saying that they made a mistake at the moment that i asked for a booking modification. Clearly a lie, i never asked for any modification. I arrived during the check in hours and no one was there to welcome me, just a paper with a map, the room key and may name written. During the checkout i had to make them a call so that someone will come to make the normal checkout routine. For all this i asked a full refund, that they never answered me about it!
