Recommended! Awesome place to stay in.

This hotel is situated at one of the more strategic locations at Pangkor Island, I. E. Along the popular Pasir Bogak beach on the west coast of Pangkor. It is a two-storey, low density hotel, whereby rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the swimming pool via their sliding glass doors. This was the first hotel I've stayed at since my childhood or teenage years, which still uses the conventional key drop system at the lobby (I. E. Leave things inside your room at your own risk!). Nevertheless, the room that I got (I. E. The Super Deluxe Room, with 2 queen beds) was quite OK, and was able to fit my family comfortably. They also provide a generous allocation of both bath and pool towels in the room as well. The only issue we encountered was that the overhead shower in our bathroom was not working, therefore we could only use the hand shower. On a good weather day, the Pasir Bogak beach provides a beautiful sunset view, while during the morning, you can also enjoy the cool breeze as you enjoy your breakfast at their sea-fronting cafeteria. Although only a limited array of items are available for the breakfast, but they even have an action stall for eggs. At only 10 minutes' drive/ride from the jetty, this hotel is also within walking distance to multiple places of convenience, incl. Eateries such as seafood as well as local street-fare, and even a duty-free outlet.

Choosing to celebrate my anniversary trip here was the wisest decision. Everything is so smooth. Reception was good at answering phone calls. Fast check in. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. With beachfront hotel, not many public there. So it feels like a private island there. Really enjoyed my stay there.

Setiap kali ke Pangkor Island, Pangkor Sandy Beach menjadi pilihan keluarga kami, kolam renang yang bersih dan cantik betul-betul berhadapan family room kami, untuk ke tepi pantai hanya beberapa langkah sahaja, setiap hari anak-anak saya berulang mandi di tepi pantai dah kemudian ke kolam renang. aktiviti seperti island hoping, banana boat boleh disewa hanya di depan pantai sahaja. Lokasi hotel yang terletak di Pasir Bogak amat menenangkan kerana kurang sesak seperti di Teluk Nipah, tetapi untuk makan-makan kami menyewa kereta yang boleh disewa di kedai-kedai luar hotel sahaja. Terima kasih Sandy Beach Resort, sehingga berjumpa lagi.

I had most pleasant stay here. Very cozy place. I would highly recommend to everyone.

Had a great time with my family.The pool was just opposite the room.And the beach was also closeby. The breakfast was good. The staff was helpful and friendly. Just felt like being at home.

Room was very comfortable and has all amenities you need. Staff are great too. Only one complaint : breakfast on the second morning was ala carte instead of buffet because there was too few residents. Dish was too simple and portion was too small, not tasty nor filling at all. Had to go out and buy extra food for breakfast

Our recent stay at the hotel was superb. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the staff members were nice & polite. The room was most comfortable & we got pool & sea view both. We are looking forward to come again for the third times

The hotel wasn't great; the service is bad. I had to wait and wait for almost two hours to check in because of the rooms they were providing were in bad condition, aircon not working, sheets were dirty, pillows were dirty, found hair strands and it smelled bad too, and not one room it was one after one room, after all the fuss I had to make, I was accused that I'm doing all this to get a chalet, it wasn't my mistake that I was asked to check in an OKU room and then some dirty rooms, I had to make calls to the agency-only they gave me a bit better room than all of those room, well conclusion is that I didn't get to really enjoy this trip because of all that mess. To be honest I really hope to do something about it because it wasn't just me it was other guests too who were having this issue as well, even one of the staff told me that this is normal for sandy beach to have these everytime, most of the guests complaint about all this.

Great surrounding, peace and quiet, the hotel is very near to the beach, so we do kayak and our room in front of the swimming pool too! We stayed for 1 night and actually we should add more night. We met the owner, he is so kind. We sure will come again and will bring our relatives as well. Thank you!

The proprietor, Mr Raja, was very friendly and helped arranged a seafood dinner for our group. The property is right on the beach, and you can watch beautiful sunsets, and have breakfast with sea view. Every morning, four wild hornbills will come visit near the cafe. The furniture is a bit dated. We were disturbed by the sound of firecrackers though during our stay. Overall, a recommended resort for rest and relaxation.
