Very friendly host. Breakfast extremely well prepared and cooked to your order. Located two blocks from the city centre and James bay, convenient for most activities. They also got a nice garden.

Bed and breakfast properties are so much more comfortable and friendly than hotels. Each morning at breakfast, we met someone new and had a delightful chat. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, but might not be enough for someone with a hearty appetite.

This property is stunning! I loved the charm and style of both interior and exterior. The room was nice, however it did get a little warm but had a decent ac unit and a fan to use. The room and bathroom was clean and functional. The staff were amazing, so helpful and kind. The breakfast was served fresh and hot and was delicious. I would absolutely stay here again.

We loved that Marketa's was 5 minutes walking to the Legislature and the Empress Hotel. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!

The heritage building had so much character. We loved the unique decor. The room was charming, spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi, the abundance of towels, and the comfy robes. The breakfast was delicious and high quality, made fresh in front of our eyes, and the service was so friendly and kind. We'll recommend and return!

A very warm and welcoming Bed and Breakfast is a lovely Victorian style home. The breakfast was a lovely spread, made even better by the friendly staff. This was a great location for exploring Victoria!

From our greeting from the owner and her tour of the property, our comfortable private room, to the delicious fresh made to order breakfast served with love and smiles from the crew. Our stay was relaxing and the location was excellent for walking Fisherman’s Wharf and into the city.

Fabulous, character home in a spectacular location. Staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. Great made to order breakfasts. Rooms well appointed. Only thing less than outstanding was the spotty internet, and I’m not sure much could be done with that.

The breakfast was wonderful! So convenient that it’s included, all of the options were fresh, fairly healthy, and tasted great. We especially enjoyed the fresh baked muffin everyday! The staff were all super kind and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay while in Victoria. Warm, clean and inviting room, with old fashioned furnishings and decor throughout the property. Breakfast was excellent and the place is convenient for walking, whether to downtown or along the waterfront.

We have stayed at this B and B before and really enjoyed it again. Excellent breakfast, kind, thoughtful staff and a lovely location.
