Rooms are a little outdated with the furniture being somewhat worn, but I was very impressed with how clean the room was and how comfortable the bed was which is most important to us. The back yard is beautiful on the lake with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. It would have been beneficial to have a vending machine available to get water/drinks from, none were available. However there is a convenience store/gas bar and a Tim Hortons next door to buy water. Having an iron in the room would have been beneficial for me, there wasn't one in the room. It was convenient to have a larger fridge, kitchen sink and small dining table in the room, that was a bonus. The bath mat which is suppose to be used to avoid slipping in the tub actually made me slip in the tub. Not sure if the cleaning solution made it non stick and loose. I fell in the tub upon stepping on to it so I removed it. No major injuries incurred. This was within reasonable distance to the places we wanted to see and visit like Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.

Nice and quiet. The rooms overlooked a small, peaceful lake. And they created a meditation and relaxation deck by the lake.

Overall, everything was great. One suggestion would be to provide an iron and ironing board in the room. Having these available would be very helpful and convenient for guests.

Will not stay here again. Rude people and nickle and diming operation.

Our stay was good, the exception was that outside our room door was a smoking area. We are not smokers and the smoke could be smelt in side our room. Guests would gather making phone calls and very noisy conversations. Once the staff were informed they took care of the issue. This would be resolved by moving the smoking area away from the room doors, currently 2 smoking areas are located in front of the motel.

Check in took a long time, got charged and refunded several different times, made it hard to keep track of what nights I paid for, 2 out of the 6 staff I seen were nice, blankets had burn holes in them so I went out and bought my own, fairly clean room but definitely needs some upgrades. Back yard view was nice.

It was beautiful and clean and spacious. Only downer was that there weren’t any dishes or cutlery in the kitchenette. Location is a real bonus too.

the location is picturesque, the building immaculate, extremely well built and cared for property, only minor complaint was one bath towel in the bathroom instead of two in a 2 person room.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great view of the lake. Not a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity but the one I went to had decent food.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant & comfortable. Location is excellent and the rooms are very spacious. The bed was kinda squeaky thou. Plenty of parking. Very nice lake view and lake side area.

This was a very happy surprise. The rooms are spacious. Bedding is comfortable. There was a kitchen area and a small dining area and loads of storage space. Modernized bathroom. But the biggest surprise was that the property is on a lake. Governor's Lake. Walk around the property and you come to a beautiful lawn and grounds that are beautifully manicured and a heavenly view. Great sunsets. Prices are reasonable. Pharmacy across the street and TBR across street (tavern) with great food and reasonable prices.
