We just stayed for one night but it was a lovely stay! Met some really cool people from Canada! Staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable about events going on nearby! Wonderful hotel and we will be returning!!

Great location. All rooms overlook the river. Good dining option a 5 minute walk away

I loved the patio with the view of the river. It's exactly like the picture. The area has plenty of food choices and is walkable to downtown. Great place for an overnight on the way up or down the I-5

Dirtiest room I ever stayed in. First thing you notice when you walk in is a large dark stain on the carpet. There was mold growing on the shower walls. When I notified the front desk the lady didn't seem to be surprised. She didn't make any notes. Coming into town, we passed several homeless encampments. That is not the hotel's fault, but we felt unsafe. Because of that, we did not feel comfortable walking to the restaurant across the street. Besides being dirty, Mold can be a health hazard. We will never stay here again. I requested a total refund but got no answer from the hotel.

Homelessness is taking over grants pass. Didn’t feel safe with my family

The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and it had a nice view of the river. The area around this hotel is going through a tough time. Homeless people are in tents down the street and walking by with sleeping bags. But, the hotel did a good job separating itself from this with a big fence surrounding its grounds. I hope the town gets the homeless issue under control. It's not fair to the businesses there!

The property is near downtown. It is on the river and there is a nice walkway along the river.

our room had a pair of jeans in the bottom of the cabinet. a note about leaving food out will bring the ants in. and the pool is outside and very tiny.

Very nice place for the money. Breakfast was a plus.

The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. Don't eat outside the pool was infested with wasps. We tried to eat outside and were ran off by all the wasp. The breakfast is limited and the room is really small and gets very crowded.

Staff rude upon check in. Requested a room and didn’t get the room and the room smelt of bad dog urine and poop. Asked for air freshener and they didn’t have any. Asked to be moved and wouldn’t. Finally next day staff called manager to let them know our situation and we finally were moved to requested room. That room smelt as well not as bad but it was right next to smelly room. Needs new air units as they smell. Used to like this hotel but no more.

I had a family emergency and called immediately to let the manager know. Don’t expect or hope for flexibility re: a refund. She didn’t care what the reason was. I’ll book elsewhere next time I visit Hood River.

Property was very clean, great views of the river, very good breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Stay on second or third floor for best views. They have an elevator and swimming pool. Restaurant in walking distance had many food options. Jet boating within walking distance.
