地理位置很好，旁邊就是大教堂，從火車站過去只要向著大教堂方向走就很容易找得到。接待態度很好，離開房間需要交下門匙，另外窗關不了，早上6時開始就會很嘈吵，但還可接受。沒有風扇或冷氣，下午熱得很，但晚上就還好。沒有電梯，要搬行李上房。

Hotel in historic York city centre with shops on all sides. Generally clean. Rooms and dining room quirky and charming. Dogs welcome.

This is my second time at the Galtres, extremely clean and quiet is located right beside York Minster, the quality of the food at the restaurant is excellent, the people working there are very kind and helpful, a couple of things bothered me a little: there was no light on top of the mirror and no plug for the air dryer in the bathroom, and when taking a shower there is no shelf to put the soap on, so it becomes very uncomfortable try to reach for the soap around the shower, other than that it is a great place to stay.

Clean warm room greeted us on arrival. Wide breakfast choice available. Hotel in the middle of a bustling street full of differing shops , even with a room above the street noise was not an issue

Room was clean, tidy, and warm. Bed comfy. Bathroom a little small but functional. Hotel very well situated for sightseeing and area was very quiet at night. Breakfast was superb, freshly cooked to order accompanied by plenty of choice of drinks.

We enjoyed every part of staying at this beautiful Hotel. The room was spotless, elegantly decorated and cosy. We ate in the restaurant both days and the food was delicious- especially the roast beef dinner!

Lovely quirky hotel in the city centre , friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast , lovely touch leaving gluten free biscuits in our room along with the tea and coffee. Would definitely book again.

Amazing location, a few steps to the Shambles, restaurants, pubs and York Minster. Really great breakfast in the morning as well. Room was clean and cozy, bed super comfortable. Would definitely rebook if visiting York again.

All the staff were excellent, knowledgeable & courteous, the room was clean & tidy. The only thing the room lacked was draw space, but we were only there for two nights so it wasnt a problem for us.

Centrally located with lovely rooms (ours was small but very characterful) and a fantastic breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
