We love the stay everything was perfect

Very nice resort hotel in excellent condition. Everything looks new and well maintained. Dinners in main dining room were all excellent.

Beautiful grounds, well maintained property. Our room was clean and comfortable. Definitely want to come back and extend our stay with family and friends. It’s a beautiful escape on the East Coast

Excessive noise, loud rumble and lots of incessant creaking in bathroom (mostly.) Perhaps air handler on roof. We were on 3rd floor. Ice machine next to room out of order, they said they would attend to it. But it was still out of order when we left. The unit on top of it was very, very noisy as well. Beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff. But somewhat run down surprisingly. Finish coming off door handles, etc., etc

It was our first time at Waters Edge. What a beautiful property! We loved having the beach within walking distance of our room. We ate lunch and breakfast at the hotel. Both were delicious. I am looking forward to our next little get away.

Beautiful property

The entire property is located in a beautiful area. The selection of dining is great - don’t recommend Seaview bistro. Charming and quaint. Wish the beach was bigger. Tv barely working

Every thing is running well

The hotel was fantastic. I guess my only complaint is people smoking down by the pool.

The resort itself was beautiful, with average amenities and a wonderful location. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by repeated negative interactions with a front desk staff member, Leanne Susie Moy. On four separate occasions, including in front of other guests and staff, her tone and demeanor were unwelcoming and disrespectful. At one point she even came out and loudly stated her full first name and last name when I asked if she was the same person on check in . Then she slammed paperwork on the front desk . This behavior turned what was meant to be a special mother–daughter getaway into a disappointing experience. Because of this, we will not be returning to the property. I wanted to share this feedback so it can be addressed for the sake of future guests.

A beautiful resort

Looking for a relaxing summer get away and this didn't disappoint. Beautiful property on the water. Beach was clean and chairs and umbrellas provided. Staff was super professional and accommodating. Outside bar and restaurants, no need to leave the property. Surrounding area was quiet and close drive to the town of Essex.
