Minor things but room should have facial tissue. Breakfast only includes one slice of toast which seems a bit odd. Carpets need refresh.

Cute, boutique hotel. Very clean. Restaurant onsite was convenient and food was delicious. Location was tucked back from the main road and walkable to multiple museums, restaurants and other local areas of interest.

Room was not your bog standard decor but was unique, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with an excrllet shower. The staff were polite and would acknowledge you even if you were just passing. Kim who was on reception when we arrived was a standard bearer for the hotel group, she was very welcoming and went above and beyond when we required some direction assistance.

Nice hotel, located conveniently close to the sea front. Good food served at Breakfast in the restaurant. It was the small things that let it down, and stop me giving it an excellent rating. The two most notable:- Bathroom had no shelf space to unpack washbags -so no where to conveniently put toothbrush/paste. Minuscule cups provided for making tea/coffee in the room. Most of the space is filled with the tea bag so you dont get a proper drink. Small things I know, but you just end up thinking "the designer never used this room" Certainly not reasons to avoid the hotel -but it could be better.

A 1 night stay at this well run establishment situated in a suburban street in Portsmouth. We opted for the secure gated parking, which was well worth doing. It is a safe well lit area about 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and pubs in town and very convenient for The Kings Theatre where we were attending a comedy show. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly and the cooked breakfast was spot in. We would definitely stay again.

Really comfortable hotel, extremely well-presented. Easy parking in the road with a complimentary parking permit. Absolutely no point paying for a parking space. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely time and staff friendly

Breakfast was great but the layout was very strange. We were eating breakfast bext to reception. Also the ensuit /shower was not designed well. Couldn't turn in shower, no shelves to put toiletries or make up bag on. The bedroom carpet should be replaced with tiled floor. Staff were very pleasant.

Just an excellent place to stay. Second time there in three weeks. Will be my place of choice now when I’m in that area. Staff are great. Food is great. Very relaxing.

Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. The water turned off in the middle of the night but the bathroom was clean. The room was well kept but the door lock was odd. Overall, very cute hotel just a little out of town.

What a lovely place. The staff could not be more friendly. All of them chatty, they all wanted to make sure you had a good stay. Gated car park was a great place too. Totally secure. And the breakfast was great too.
