Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.

Amazing olace

It was a historicity and charming house with lovely people. The room and food was amazing. But we did ask for a room for 4 and got only 3 sleeping places.. but the smallest one of us was able to squeeze in! After all a beautiful hotel

Clean room, excellent restuarant, but the breakfast was a little limited

The Hotel and the bar +restaurant are all amazing. My room was clean comfortable and as I was there on a hot week they'd put a Dyson blade in my room and left it running plus kept the curtains closed. The restaurant was kept cool too The bed was just right firm but with a pillowy top and the . The towels were well sized and soft. No The decor even down to the accessories complemeted the beautiful building. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. Rooms were cleaned daily. The staff are amazing throughout, helpful, friendly The breakfast was delicious with a great options ; cereals, granolos , droed and fresh fruit, yoghurt toast and jams etc. The hot food was cooked to order by filling in a form the night before . I'd recommend the eggs Benedict with lovely streaky bacon . The only minor niggles are that the water in shower was a bit erratiic and the instant coffee was Nescafé . Coffee bags and mugs would make it even better. The Nespresso was quite fun . I'd highly recommend The Chapter House

The staff was great and the food was fantastic!

I visit regularly as my mum is in Salisbury spinal unit and I travel up from Devon. When I arrive the staff always make me feel so welcome and always remember me and ask after my mum . Nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms are wonderful. It’s a must to dine in the restaurant as the steaks are incredible. I never skip the breakfast as they are just perfect. I highly recommend a stay here

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was good, but there could have been more choice. They made a lot of effort to keep us cool in the heat. The building is very old and a bit of a challenge to those who are less mobile. All the rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. However, it is a fascinating historical building and very sensitively adapted. Ideally situated to visit the cathedral and museum, which are only s few minutes walk away.

This was a lovely place that I would go to again and again. The hotel itself was stunning, the staff were very helpful and thoughtful, and the food was fantastic. The only concern is the stairs are uneven, so just be careful if you’re unsteady. Other than that, delightful experience.

The most outstanding stay of my life! It is a historic building but modernized in all the ways you would want. I can’t say enough how much we loved our stay here. We will make a point to return to Salisbury if we’re ever in England again just to stay at Chapter House.

Fantastic place let down somewhat by breakfast. Lackluster buffet crammed in so tightly on the table that it is a nightmare for people with food allergies. Cooked to order meals lukewarm. I have to say dinner the night before was amazing and the room was excellent.

I had a lovely room and the staff were excellent. Only downside is that you have to park in a public car park and so that made it difficult getting luggage to the hotel

Super cosy and nice, excellent beds and bath room. Good restaurant with nice food and wine menu. Breakfast above average for B&B. Pleasant and helpful employees.

Convenient location. Parking was round the corner and the entrance to the cathedral was across the street. Five minute walk to the shops etc. The staff was extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast. In house restaurant. Historic and quaint property which is its big charm but also means no elevators or air conditioning. All other modern amenities are present. Bathrooms are fully modern. Rooms are very clean.
