This hotel was a delightful surprise. How often do you get to stay in a converted former prison? It‘s a very self contained property with a nice restaurant and bar as well as a beach area and walking paths nearby. It‘s about a 30 minute walk along the River to the old town and a bit less to a metro or other restaurants so be prepared to take a cab if you don’t like to walk. It would have been perfect if we been offered tea or coffee without charge throughout the day as the rooms do not have a kettle.

Ein interessantes und besonderes Hotel in sehr schöner, naturnaher Lage. Zu loben ist auch, dass es Parkplätze rund ums Hotel gibt. Ich habe ein „Basic-Doppelzimmer“ für nur 1 Person gebucht und ich möchte mir nicht vorstellen, wie dort 2 Personen Platz finden sollen. Das Bett kann nur nach einer Richtung verlassen werden und es fehlt gänzlich ein nutzbarer Tisch. Aus welchem Grund auch immer habe ich für dieses kleine Zimmer über 200€/Nacht bezahlt, was in keinem Verhältnis steht. Ich weiß nicht, ob das am Hotel oder an Expedia liegt, aber z.B. wird dieses Zimmer momentan, also einen Tag später für fast nur die Hälfte angeboten wird.

This was a truly unique experience, a jail turned into a hotel but leaning into its history. Starting with the location on one of the islands with no public transport but close to the T station in 10 mins, pristine “cells”, delightful breakfast and super friendly staff

Hartstikke leuk hotel, oude gevangenis maar nu hotel en museum. Helemaal in thema Heerlijk ontbijt, kamers klein maar alles wat je nodig hebt. Ligt buiten de stad maar in buurt van openbaar vervoer en binnen een uurtje lopen midden in de oude stad. Heerlijk langs het water.

Frukosten va bra även bemötandet i receptionen

Our stay at the Langholmen Hotel was fantastic. We stayed as a family of 4 for 4 nights, and we had plenty of room for all of us. The hotel is easily accessed via transit and a pleasant 15 minute walk. The breakfast was delicious every day. The staff were very friendly. Staying in an old prison was a truly one of a kind experience and we would recommend this hotel 100%.

Rent o fint på rummet och hela hotellet. Intressant info om Långholmen historia spritt i hotellet. Bra frukost och trevlig frukostpersonal: Jaana var otroligt glad o serviceminded. När hon råkade höra att jag saknade croissanter fixade hon så nya gräddades på direkten ❤️

Bra frukost, lite mycket folk och stökigt den andra morgonen. Rummet och badrummet var okej, vi hade önskat ett högre tryck i duschen.

Wonderful experience! Clean, comfortable room. Great staff. Great amenities. Would stay there again!
