nice view but the room is not clean

Fantastic location. Wonderful views of Douro. Exactly as in the picture Good service, clean and comfortable rooms Cold pool and only two of the 4 saunas were open

Amazing outdoor pool with gorgeous views. Very quiet rooms. Good breakfast buffet. The indoor pools could use some updates.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is han absolutely incredible view. We look forward to revisit soon.

Très bel hôtel dommage que le personnel ne soit pas à la hauteur. Très lent et ne maîtrise pas d’autres langues que le portugais.

Allgemein ziemlich gut. Aber die Klimaanlage war relativ schwach.

This hotel has to be one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in. The room was big and luxurious, and the pool was one of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen. Plus it’s open a generous 24 hours. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant food was delicious. I’m so glad I decided to stay two nights instead of one. Highly recommend! This place is worth every penny!

This is by no measure a 5-star property, but a well used 4-star facility. The upkeep is not really up to par, with mold in the bathroom, bathroom doors peeling severly due to water damage, stained towels etc. The breakfast is fine, but, again, not up to 4-star standards (including 5-star hotels in Portugal). The common spaces like the dining room show extensive damage due to use (and lack of maintenance?) and there's peeling paint in the hallways. However, the staff were exceedingly friendly and the price we paid in mid-May (around 150 € per night) was right for a 4-star place.

Check in was great, with a welcome glass of Port. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of options and very scenic views. Room was little dated and the area itself is secluded. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort.

Tudo fantástico

The Breakfast was very good and fresh with plenty of options. Many types of pastries, fruits alternative milks. The front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Douro Valley. The rooms had incredible views of the River. Rooms were spacious but were dated,they need a refresh. Bed was comfortable though. The area was good but you definitely need a car to see the rest of the valley and vineyards.
