The staff member who checked us in very late at night was excellent, welcoming and friendly. The room was pretty good with just a few bits that might need attention (if you look closely). Great location for breaking up a journey like we used it for.

Lovely hotel and staff, good breakfast, quiet room. Bathroom tiny, had to stand in shower to get in bathroom! Bathroom door worn out from wet conditions looked tired.

Great team, brilliant value for money. I feel I have found a little gem.

The hotel smelled of humidity. The TV in the room didn't work. I went to change the remote control 4 times. Finally, I asked them to test it in the room to see if it worked. They put the remote control down and left. I went upstairs and the TV still didn't work. Since I can't sleep without a TV, it was important to me. The hotel is definitely not worth the price they are asking. And they are especially asking for extra parking from the customers who have already stayed

I totally disagree for customers being charged for parking. It is not nice bse it feels like taking advantage of the people who come to use the services. Where else does the hotel expect its customers to park instead of on the ground. I think this needs to change. Otherwise the overall stay was nice. The room was clean and just enough, it was noise free and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not ordered, so I can’t comment.

A lovely scent greeted us as we entered the reception area. The hotel is well equipped and modern. Our room was lovely and spacious & the breakfast was good. We really liked the lounge/bar area and the fact that you could grab a Starbucks coffee & snack. The car park was very spacious and the gym was well equipped & had good air conditioning. We found the air con in the room worked well and the big shower was lovely. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. It was a great base for Cribbs Causeway or for the Scouting activity centre. We really enjoyed our stay here & would definitely return.

In our opinion the room wasn't up to a high standard Alot of the fitting where loose ie the light next to the bed which was loose and the bulb was not in the socket just hanging in its cage the toilet roll holder loose etc. On arrival the entrance to the hotel front lobby the ramp was very steep and not alot of free area to manoeuvre my wife's electric wheelchair, The doors into the hotel in our opinion should be wider and not Manuel, due to my wife struggling to enter the hotel in her wheel chair and hand luggage The room was a assesiable room but again due to the turning circle on her electric wheel chair she snuggled to get into the room due to the door not wide enough. We also was surprised that we had to pay £3.50 to park as the car park looked like it was on the same premises as the hotel.

Staff were super friendly and we had everything we needed for our stay. The only slight downsides were that you can hear a lot of noise from the road and people walking down the corridor, thin walls and windows! The room also smelt slightly but not horrendous

All good, budget price but not budget rooms, hotel very please with the amenities

Stayed here last night and wanted to give a special mention to Tony and Sam for their outstanding customer service. Tony dealt with a small issue quickly and professionally, and both he and Sam were friendly, helpful and a real credit to the team. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasant one. Clean and comfortable room/bed/bathroom, highly recommended.

Booked the “cosy” double and it was perfect for one night as a stop off to break up a long drive. Shower was really nice. Mattress on the firmer side which is not my preference but some people don’t like soft so can’t please everyone. Staff were friendly and both check in and out were a doddle. Would stay again.

The food can only be classed as average at best. The carpet in the room is thread bare and poorly hoovered. My room was tiny with the bed being no more than two feet from the bathroom door. The bathroom was so small the only way you could access the toilet was to stand in the shower as soon as you opened the door, so you could then close it to gain access to the toilet. The constant standing on the shower tray to shut the toilet door has caused the shower tray to crack and leak water on to the bathroom floor plus the drain in the shower was very slow to empty. You could smell there was a drain issue walking down the corridor to the room.

Unfortunately a previous guest must have been smoking in our room and so the room was not comfortable to sleep on. It was more of an overnight stay place than a longer holiday choice as the room was fairly small.

Air conditioning is working very well, perfect timing & in need during heatwave

Good value. Well presented newly done rooms with everything you need. Staff very helpful. Breakfast we thought was really good. Local village 10 minute walk and had a lovely pub for a meal. Will use again to break up a long journey from Leeds to Devon.
