This hotel is stunning and beautifully presented. The staff and owners are wonderful. It is also well placed to walk to all places of interest.

Nice room for a short stay in New Plymouth

Off-site parking and check-in details provided in detail prior to arrival. Alarmed about having to give debit/credit card details via an app other than hotels.com, even though had paid upfront with no intention of accruing debts to the service. Had to ring doorbell to attract reception. He gave us the envelope and gestured to the stairs and room whilst continuing with a phone call. We were aware there were no lifts at this facility. We knew it was a small room when we booked, it was a bit claustrophobic for us. Bathroom with toilet had an opaque glass door. A separate seating area was occupied by a group whom were quite noisy. Fortunately we were tired after 4.5 hour drive in the rain and wind on winding roads so could block out the noise. Pleasant checkout by same check-in reception personnel with the offer of carrying our bags down the stairs. Accommodation chosen for convenience because it was midway between Wellington Ferry and Auckland.

It was a surprising gem for my wife and I. It had exactly what you could need from a hotel and provided everything in-room that most high end hotels would have as extra...this said, be prepared for the smaller bathroom which was fine - some people seem to want a bathroom bigger than their bedroom for some reason. The rooms were well appointed and really comfortable. We only stayed a night because it was a drive through visit for a wedding BUT would definitely have been happy with a 3 day stay or more. The hosting managers were helpful and great to deal with but the PRICE was by far the catch for us, given some surrounding offerings were not as nice and more expensive. A business traveler or personal trips to regions, its just relaxing and in a central location you have everything at your disposal. We loved it.

Everything was great with the exception of the showers which don’t work super well.

Tolle Unterkunft im herzen von New Plymouth, nur 5 min von der Strandpromenade entfernt. AJ und sein Team waren großartig, und ließen uns unser Gepäck aufbewahren, als wir nach dem Check Out noch eine Wanderung vor der Abreise machen wollten. Können die Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen!

Nice.y situated

Wonderful place to stay! The staff are amazing, nothing was too much effort! Great to have free parking in town & gym access, although the coastal walk is beautiful I did that instead. Supermarkets in walking distance. Restaurants a few steps left and right of front door. Thank you for your fabulous service, will definitely stay again!

I loved this place, it has been one of my favorites on my New Zealand adventure. Luke, the man in charge was so nice, and helpful. I'm always tired when arriving and appreciate a smile and congenial welcome. The hotel is charming. I loved the decor, the room, everything was comfortable and convenient. Great location.

Super central location . Our room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was light, airy and clean. There's no staffed reception but we didn't need it. Checkin/checkout was a breeze. The guest lounge and free parking plus Tesla destination charger were the cream on the cake for us.

A lovely surprise! Although the room was small, it made up for that by the amazing greeting from the manager (and family), cleanliness, great bed, ideas around what was on in New Plymouth when we got there, good easy parking, no hassle! Thanks!!!
