An average motel to stay in Cessnock for a night or two. Do not expect much. If the intend is just to stay at night, then it should be ok. Room was small, exhaust fan did not work.

Newly painted. Good location off the main road. Clean.

Pet friendly and lovely rooms Taking pets off the property to toilet was inconvenient and cold

Overall it was good but I was missing the remote for the TV and no face washers or hand towels

Needed new pillows, new curtains see through curtain on one window, needed to wash the bed runner Staff were nice ,bed was comfortable

The room was filthy, carpets terrible smelly and old. Toilet seat was blistered and peeling. It's an old nursing home and has never been renovated. Absolutely disgusting, do not waste your money. It's the second worst motel that I have ever stayed in. Manager was not even at reception.

The accommodation was as we expected. You get what you pay for. The sheets on the bed were very clean but the bathroom the next morning hosted a small huntsman spider and a bug I did not recognise.

The staff were nice enough, but gee…. We didn’t want to spend much time there. Tired common areas, group of residents sitting out the back drinking and smoking. Dark corridors to rooms. Room smelt stale. Windows didn’t open. Growth on wooden window frame. Cobwebs around bathroom window and ledge. Note said to you blue or black face washers provided so as not to stain with makeup etc, but none provided (we take our own). Thought we would save some money not staying in the Hunter as not too far to drive. Probably should have spent the extra $$

Local tranquilo, mas precisa de mudanças. O chuveiro estão baixo que meu marido precisava se abaixar para poder tomar banho. E a limpeza deixava a desejar.

This motel was pet friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were good. The bed was rather hard though

It is a small motel with basic facilities. Clean and efficient.

Stayed here with my 2 little dogs, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Perfect for a nights rest while travelling.

It’s called Travelers Rest and I didnt get a good rest. There were only 5 cars in the carpark, 3 of which I'm guessing were staff cars, one was my car and one was another guest. From the whole hotel they put me in a room opposite the other guests which sounded like a large, VERY loud family with a dog. I woke up everytime time I left and entered the room as the walls here are paper thin. I could hear their TV all night and i'm confused why the staff did not space out the guests correctly. Noise was a major issue from the other guests and the kitchen sounds. Also no iron, I asked for an iron there was none provided.

We enjoyed our stay, found it clean, quiet and hany to anywhere we went.We will stay again next time we stay in the hunter Valley.Regards Peter
