We arrived very late, but the manager took us to our units. They were very comfortable and would recommend this property to everyone. Thanks for a great first night in NZ!

I was aware that the area is pet-friendly, but even so, the smell of dog urine was overwhelmingly strong, as if it had just been done. The bedding was damp to the point that it was hard to fall asleep, and the smell was so unpleasant that it gave me a headache. I think more attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of the room. That said, the staff I met were friendly.

Good location. Close to the beach to enjoy the beach activities. The room is clean and tidy.

Ok for the price but expensive activities like hot tub sauna go karts etc

Spacious clean accommodation. Friendly staff ...handy to Waihi Beach and shops. Lovely hot tub. Awesome place for a holiday. Highly recommended 😀😀😀

confusing until you understand there are two Tasman Holiday parks in Waihi. We stayed at Beachhaven which was very nice but did not have as many activities for the kids as the other Waihi Tasman campground e.g. pool, slides. Which we found booking through Expedia is not well explained or advertised clearly. We were though, treated well and the accommodation was excellent at Beachhaven

Great campground, clean and friendly staff

We arrived unknowingly at the other Tasman Park and gave our booking name and was given the codes and key to our room. After a shower and making dinner it was about 6 pm when the office girl come over and said we had other people with the same last name booked in our cabin and we had the wrong park and we had to leave. She even threatened us with calling the police and said we were trespassing on their property. After packing and leaving, and going to the other Tasman park a block away, the room had no toiletries, no towels and was nothing like the description on the booking site. An experience we never want to repeat. Staff at both parks were off handed and unhelpful.

Close to beach

Kitchen stainless bench-top had build-up of material in the draining grove's which had become solid & had never been cleaned for some considerable time. Space between the bathroom hand basin & mirror very narrow. No room for a side table on one side in the master bedroom.

We booked a big room because it was cheaper. We had no kids and were put right next to the kids tv room. It was noisy and at no time on the booking website where we made aware this is where we would be otherwise we would have changed it. Our room also backed on to where staff were parking their van. We were woken early in the morning to the van door constantly being opened and slammed and loud talking. The bathrooms were dirty , floor wet and sink area. Made no effort to change our room when asked .

Great location, convenient to beach. Friendly staff. Dog friendly accommodation so we got to pat lots of dogs.

Fabulous stay, lovely unit with everything we needed in the house and great size fridge with freezer. Lovely campground and playground for the kids, they particularly loved riding the big bikes around. Thank you we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Close to the beach, in a quiet part of town. Lovely friendly staff. Comfy bed.

It was lovely that this holiday park is close to the beach. We stayed in a cabin and the bathroom was nearby which was a plus and has more than one toilet, one of the toilet seats is broken or has come loose and one of the lights kept on flickering. The cabin itself is basic which is ok, it has beds, a sink and some cups, bowls and cutlery and that. The walls are thin so the neighbours movements are easily heard. A dislike was the mattress which was very soft, too soft.

Modern , clean and neat unit, enjoyed our stay, staff friendly , will definitely stay there again .

We booked the two bedroom cabin. Great space for our family of four. Very accessible to the beach. Check in and out was easy and the staff are very welcoming.

The trike was so much fun. Pity it was the other holiday park that had the better kids playground
