Although this hotel is really convenience, salamanca market is just nearby, but i found a pair of smelly dirty socks under my bed ! Also inside the sink is stinky. I cant believe that next to my room’s window are three garbages!!!! yes, i live at the underground floor with several stairs, and i need to carry heavy luggage to walk down . And i can never meet the receptionist even during the working hour but just left a memo with phone call on desk. It is really not a good experience for me .

酒店小而標緻，位置靜中帶旺。附近的食店水準高，價錢合理。他們每天提供的自家制糕餅很好味，感覺如同家裏有人期待你回來一樣，很是温暖。 唯一一樣是他們並無安裝空調，怕熱的人可能會不喜歡。

亞洲人盡量不要入住！ -看評價都給高分，說主人很熱情友善，位置好，房間好，所以便訂了房，但看來他們的熱情不是給亞州人 -到歩時預期主人會歡迎我們，但卻是面無表情，開門時只看著門把，完全沒有看我們（我們是外表不錯的香港人） -CHECK-IN時也是很冷淡，簡單介紹附近幾個地方。主人有幫忙提行李上樓梯到房間 -CHECK-OUT那天，由於行李頗重，在樓梯最後一級滑了歩，在地上走了幾歩才平衡住沒跌倒。但女主人立即衝出來，很不友善地叫:“你們不應在樓梯上奔跑，這樓梯已有百年歷史！”，真是無言 -我個人認為是有種族歧視的成份，因為看到主人與白皮膚房客談得很開心 好處： -算是近Salamanca Market -房間海景 -房間大 壞處 -如上述 -好像沒有空調 -浴室門不密封，水都濺到外面 -沒有停車場，車停在門前的路上，運氣不好便要停很遠。而且有時間限制

near city and the view is nice

Very welcoming friendly staff, great view from Knopwood room, upscale communal kitchen with complimentary quality local produce, continental breakfast, coffee/tea. Very short walk to several Battery Pt restaurants and bakery, close to market , waterfront area. Very clean , attention to detail throughout.

Although the hotel was converted from an old luxury mansion, the interior was comfortable and modern. The attentive hospitality and quiet atmosphere made for a warm stay even in the rainy and cold Hobart. The warm meals and lively atmosphere, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, made it impossible to leave the hotel. I've traveled to numerous countries in Europe and abroad, but this was the first time I've stayed in such a beautiful and unforgettable place.

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous room. Easy walking distance to the best Hobart has to offer. And did I mention the view?

We loved our stay at the Grande Vue!! The hotel itself is a very cool and historic queen anne mansion. Breakfast was delicious (and with fantastic gluten-free options) and the owners and staff were all so lovely and helpful. The location is also great, we can't wait to come back again one day!

The Grand Vue Hotel is a beautiful experience. It has spectacular views in a charming federation style boutique hotel. Lovely owners who provide a fantastic breakfast and afternoon tea. An amazing experience.

The hosts are passionate about providing an excellent hotel stay. Our room was spacious, had a large window overlooking the neighbourhood and was very well appointed. Breakfast was wonderful - cereals, quiche, variety of breads, variety of fruit, juices, coffee and tea. Cake was offered in the afternoon, even brought to our room if we were out in the afternoon. The hotel was very quiet and the neighbourhood was beautiful and also very quiet. Would highly recommend the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grande Vue. It was comfortable, quiet and great to come back to at the end of the day. The afternoon pastries were a highlight as waa the sitting rooms, dining room and gardens. It is close to restaurants, cafes, ferries and the water front.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with stunning views. The bed was very comfortable and loved the baked treats in the afternoon after a day out exploring!
