Enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Dyngja. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple meals. Convenient parking near property.

Great sized room for 4 people. Nice kitchen area, and located right next to the docks. The restaurant down the street has amazing lobster rolls. It’s basically an extra large hotel room with a kitchen area

Good location, close to restaurant and walking distance to the port. Clean and comfy! My kids like the cereal and cookie provided in the room. Very thoughtful idea. Easy to check in and out. Only thing is that the parking lot is not enough and we have to park and other people park behind us, block our way completely. Overall a nice place to stay and will recommend.

Our room for four people was wonderful. Very clean and welcoming with its own private bathroom. Walkable distance to many great restaurants.

Perfect little guesthouse. The kitchen is stocked with dried herbs and with tea coffee.

Lovely little studio apartment that was clean and had a wonderful breakfast bar! Amenities were great! Area was walking distance from many restaurants and check in process was super easy and quick.

Loved the location right in town and across from the wonderful Pakkhus restaurant. Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Lovely kitchen which we didn't use but great room to play cards. Easy checkin using information sent via e:mail. Parking is tight and we had to take out luggage before backing into a VERY tight spot (only one left). Thankfully we had a small car. Not sure if people were parked there who weren't staying. The sign saying it's for their parking is very small and only appears to include one spot.

Nice apartement. The shared bathroom is clean and big. One problem was we heard the upstairs people walk and talk. When they walked, I could hear exactly where they put their feet. If you are not a light sleeper, this apartement is good.

Guesthouse Dyngja was our favorite accommodation on our recent ring road trip. It is right in the middle of town, with 4 restaurants less than a block away, plenty of parking, and offered an easy walk out the edge of the harbor (good for sunset). Very modern/up to date furnishings and everything is spotless (probably recently renovated because everything just seemed new). Beautiful large pix of south Iceland sites on the wall. We met several other families also staying there and the shared kitchen area was plenty big enough for multiple groups to share the space along with a very large shared refridgerator. Coordination on arrival (via code) was straightforward. Generally, we also just liked Hofn a lot as well (especially on a clear day when the glaciers are visible in the distance!)

You’d be lucky to snag the studio apartment while in Hofn. It’s nicer than the photos — spacious, modern and clean. The kitchen is stocked with cookies, tea and instant coffee. The shower water pressure is adequate but not strong. The only negatives were the bed pillows are too thick and the porch light is on all night with light coming around the blackout shades.

+ clean, quiet, comfortable accomodation, modern kitchen and bathroom, everything was fine - phone number is wrong (not +345 but +354) and we also didn't receive an e-mail with check-in info including pin code for keybox. After call with correct area code went the communication great, customer care was really helpful

Perfect space to fit our family with kids. They even had a great coffee machine and some cereal for breakfast!

The room was bright, airy and clean. It was next to a Main Street but there was no traffic at night. We had a nice little patio for coffee and a view of the harbor. Lots of little extra’s in the room made us feel at home. We wanted to stay another night. We loved the coffee machine!

Great location. Never saw the staff while staying there. Close to the restaurants in town.

Cute little apartment. Close to food. Offered some yummy oatmeal chocolate cookies. Middle of the night the drain pipe fell off the bathroom sink. Looked quite plugged (yuck). Only sink so was interesting getting ready the next morning. Tried to call office twice with no answer.

We had a great stay here! The location was great and the space was modern, clean, and overall lovely. The host was very accomodating with our late check-in, as our day included lots of driving and we didn't specifically know our timing as we wanted to make sure we didn't miss anything along our route. :) Weould recommend!

The property was very clean and the room was comfortable. The restaurant across the street was amazing. We had a local fish that was very tasty.
