We were looking forward to eating at the hotel but the restaurant is shut which no one told us before. Despite sending me a PDF about my upcoming trip, encouraging me to eat there. There is no room service available either even though there is a QR card in the room with the room service menu.

Outstanding venue! Old, well-kept villa that was very nice and comfortable. Cocktails on the lawn patio. Shuttle to Venice was an unexpected treat. Restaurant was very good and the staff personable and helpful

We liked our stay at Villa Barbarich this August. The history, property and surrounding area are so peaceful! The staff were kind and helpful as well. The only negative was that we felt the carpet in the rooms was very worn and in need of replacement. The bathroom lighting was also very dim. Older eyes need better lighting. Other than that, we enjoyed the villa.

Bel hôtel, chambre petite mais fonctionnelle. Literie moyenne. Petit déjeuner minimaliste : un peu moyen de proposer un Thermos de café et du lait chaud en guise de boisson, et de facturer 3€20 de supplément pour un cappuccino.

It was a great quiet retreat to end our vacation. Beautiful grounds and great staff! Restaurant has a variety of food options.

The property was beautiful and very close to Venice. The service was exceptional. The included breakfast had a variety for every taste. I highly recommend Villa Barbarich.

Beautiful place to stay, close to Venice, but in a quiet secluded area. Second floor room was large with high ceilings. On-site parking was available for those driving in.

We loved the villa’s classic old world charm and modern amenities. Even though it’s not located directly in Venice, the free shuttle service makes it a great alternative at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had during my travels in Europe, and dinner service was equally impressive. Our wait staff, Ilisa and Francesca, were professional, attentive and friendly. We’ll choose Villa Barbarich again for our next visit to Venice.

Villa Barbarich is a lovely place to stay. The building has unique characteristics and it is in a quiet location. Staff are very kind and helpful. We would definitely return and recommend this as a “home away from home”.

The 2 staff at reception were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Above and beyond what was expected. My only complaint was that the pool wasn’t open, which was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Apparently it doesn’t open until May.
