Great location, very nice staff, rooms are fine but they are renovating half the hotel at the moment and started the jack hammers at 8am! We were out of season so makes sense to do the refurb then but we were unlucky.

Liked being near the historic area. No elevator in building. Difficult to find by driving and walking. Extremely narrow streets. Parking was 20 minutes away.

We did not enjoy this stay, we were on the top floor with no lift. The decor in the room was very dated but the bed was clean and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room on the plus side.

The room was fairly noisy (you could hear the floor above and the room nearby fairly loudly), the bathroom smelly and the air conditioning not working properly

Very clean and conveniently located. Our room (for four people) was spacious and we appreciated the shower and the air conditioning, as well as the friendliness of the staff.

Good place if you staying inside Avignon. Super clean. Polite staff. Easily walkable location. Ubers were able to get within 75 yards for both drop off dnd pickup. We’d definitely stay here again.

The room was perfect! Great windows into the courtyard for a breeze. The best location for walking about.

Everything about this hotel was top rate! Spotlessly clean, super friendly and responsive staff, location, price, and amenities in the room. Yes, the room was small, but when I travel I don't really expect to spend all that much time besides sleeping in my room. It is meant as a small, affordable hotel and not a luxury hotel and it far exceeds this goal. I highly recommend it.

One of the rooms we booked had several flying bugs. The receptionist went into the room to check the condition. Despite our objection of not applying insecticide to kill the bugs, she sprayed it right away when she saw them flying in the bathroom. We travelled with children and had concerned about the effects on kids. The family who supposed to stay in the room moved to another hotel and had not received any response from the hotel owner/management after a week. Very disappointed.

I stayed 15 days and was very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Very central but quiet and about a 15 minute walk to/from the central train station.

Hotel Medieval was a great little hotel in Avignon. Convenient to key attractions and on a quiet street. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was small but perfectly fine for a holiday stay. The air-conditioner worked well which was important given the 40 degree heat outside.

Close to everything in Avignon. Very hospitable staff. Plentiful continental breakfast. I’d stay here again.

Nice hotel with very central location at 5 minutes walk from the Palais des Papes. Minimalistic, but comfortable. The AC did not seemed to work but it was not hot enough to make it necessary plus one can open the window (although sometimes you might hear a couple loud people in the middle of the night).

Hotel Medieval is in the heart of Avignon. It's on a quiet street which is excellent for sleeping. 1 block away there is a square with lots of restaurants. It's an easy and close walk to all the sights of Avignon ie Palais du Papes was about a 4-5 min walk. The size of the room was fantastic, especially for France. We looked over a quaint coutyard. We would definitely stay there again! We highly recommend Hotel Medieval.

This is an old fashioned French hotel : cozy, quiet, comforting but not modern or slick. Our room was on a charming courtyard and we were able to have the doors and windows wide open. The location can't be beat.

Very good location, close to restaurant and attractions.
