We arrived a bit early before normal check-in time but the staff allowed us to early check-in so that we can get some rest after flying long distance. 5/F has a small gym for work out.

This hotel is highly recommended! It’s new and modern. All you need are included in the room. The staff are also so nice.

The location is good but the room cleanness need to improve, specialy the coffee machine....it's so dirty and seems have not cleaning long time, and the sugar package opened already....that's really a impossible mistake.

Perfect location to know the city in short amount of time. Walking distance from the train station even with luggage and a baby it was comfortable.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Bãren. Extremely helpful staff, clean room and bath, and good location. There was no traffic noise at night. We appreciated the coffee and sparking water service in the lobby. All in all, an excellent value. It rained a bit when we were there. We found we could walk to the railway station without getting wet! A definite plus. When we needed an umbrella for our walkabout, the staff were happy to supply now.

Very clean and close to the station. Very convenient

First of all I can not recommend the breakfast buffet. The Buffet area is so small and crowded and very poorly prepared. I can not even find a simple banana or apple. The location is conveniently located. However the rooms are very small and there are also unexpected steps in the room.

Zimmer: Zimmerkategorie, die ich bewerte ist ein Doppelzimmer. Ist insgesamt von der Größe her okay. Leider kein richtiger Kleiderschrank, nur eine Kleiderstange im Raum und insgesamt etwas wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung. Noch dazu im Bereich des Verdunklungsvorhangs, den man dann über die aufgehangenen Kleider ziehen muss. Es gibt auch nur einen Nachttisch und keinen Wecker oder ähnliches der die Uhrzeit anzeigt. Zimmer sauber, Bad angemessene Größe mit genug Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zimmer nach hinten raus sind ruhig gelegen. Relativ gute Isolierung zu den Nachbarzimmern. Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer ist vorhanden, ein kleiner Kühlschrank leider nicht. WLAN hat auf dem Zimmer gut funktioniert. Hotel allgemein: Frühstück kann vor Ort dazu gebucht werden, ist ausreichend und auch etwas abwechselnd (Verschiedene Sorten Brot, Croissants, Muffins, verschiedene Marmeladen, Käse, Wurst, Obst, verschiedene Joghurts, Fruchtsäfte, Müsli, Kaffee in verschiedenen Varianten, heiße Schokolade, verschiedene Tees). Personal super freundlich. Wasser, Kaffee und Tee im Aufenthaltsraum (dort ist auch das Frühstück) neben der Rezeption sind im Preis inbegriffen. Weitere Getränke müssen gesondert bezahlt werden, wobei das erste am ersten Tag als Willkommens Getränk gratis war. Lage: perfekt, Bahnhof ist schnell erreichbar (ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß). Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß oder mit der Tram (Haltestelle um den Block) erreichbar. Fazit: Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen.

Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal

We loved the great location! We walked to most attractions within 10 minutes. The several times a week markets is right around corner. It has washing and drying machines for people to use for free. It is very quiet at night and safe! Breakfast is very good with dishes carefully selected and prepared. Hotel provides free coffee and tea and great taste ice water all day. We will return to this hotel again and highly recommend this hotel. Bern is full of history and culture—from the Middle Ages to Einstein and beyond! Well worth visiting!

Nice modern style hotel close to the train station. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection was limited.

Excellent location for shopping and restaurants and very comfy bed all at a reasonable price. Wifi good. Note however that room air conditioner not working while outside air is "fresh" according to staff, but room was a bit warm so we had to open windows. The only problem with that is the noise all night from the street. Which probably explains why the hotel provides ear plugs next to the bed.
