you will be actually sleeping in a historical castle, it's cool but also brings problem. everything built so old, which makes it creepy at night. and all the facilities are out-dated. the restroom leeks water while you showering. and the bed made my back hurts. I never met a hotel which kept your car key during your stay, and request your credit card details to access the wifi (they don't provide option to access through your room# etc.）. I just can't feel the warmth staying here. I think the root cause is they didn't put much effort on the service and facility details.

go to the hotel by boat at Interlaken was great. The Cruise journey have a lot of beautiful views at lake Brienz.

We stayed in the Double room (forest view). There is three way to go to the hotel - by boat, by their hotel shuttle or by driving your own car (watch out of the operation time or you might have to take taxi). I emailed the hotel about the hotel shuttle and they answered me patiently. When i arrived the hotel, they have already prepare the room key for me and I feel so warm with that. The room is quite old but they try their best the maintain it though. I am happy that I have chosen Forest view type of room. I think it will be noisy if we choose the room with waterfall view because when I open the window, I can still hear the waterfall quite loud. The room size is good - I can still open two 32-inch luggages with space to walk. The bed is comfortable and you can choose you type of pillow too. I am happy with the bathroom with heat underneath the floor. If you choose the have dinner in the hotel, don't choose trout or any other fish in the main course. They wasted a fish and it smell really awful. It smelled oily and greasy like it was using some brunt oil to cook it and it made me retch.

其他的都还好，就是对于中国人来说，法式晚餐实在有点难以下咽，而且服务员明显对不太懂西餐的中国人爱搭不理，有点歧视的意味，这点让人不太舒服。

位于旅游风景区内，附件有瀑布，酒店本身历史悠久，重新装修过，环境好，自带小图书馆（虽然我看不懂德文），对于想了解当地文化的人是不错的选择。 早餐非常丰盛，服务很到位，住宿酒店可以免费赠送到湖边的小火车的票。 酒店用导航比较好找，但是上山有一比较陡的路面。房间干净，4月的白天有些冷，不过晚上有暖气。我们住的房间靠山，比较安静。 被子有点小。

非常惊喜，非常精致，景观非常好的酒店。虽然房间有点小，位置不是特别方便，但是酒店的种种精致、古老、历史感完全可以抵消所有这些不足！如果银子到位，定湖景房最好了！酒店早餐也很丰盛！

Tout est parfait, sauf pour l’apéro à 17h00 où seule la partie de la terrasse à l’ombre est ouverte, la partie ensoleillée 5 mètres plus loin, donc « trop loin » restant fermée, du coup seul quelques clients « bénéficient » d’un apéro à l’ombre et avec leur doudoune… dommage !

A magical place. Difficult to reach by car from Zurich . Transportation from Ferry and train to Intervale would be easier. Sleeping with the sound of waterfalls is unforgettable!

We love this place and our specific room with great views. We have returned and returned and will try and include it next year’s trip.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Grandhotel Giessbach and wow, what a place! The hotel is certainly grand and is located in the most beautiful location I've ever seen, overlooking Lake Brienz with the Giessbach falls only metres away! The staff were all very pleasant, the breakfast was great, the bar was lovely, the Les Cascades restaurant was lovely, the surrounding park and trails were truly beautiful! However, my only complaint is that we had to pay 15CHF per night for parking. I think for the price you pay to stay at the hotel, parking should be included for that price

The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. You feel like you are transported in a time-capsule machine to a classic, glamorous and beautiful place. Certainly an experience that I would highly recommend
