Croquettes were very good. Breakfast was above average but slow service. Loud music next door late at night which wasn’t great after a long drive.

We had a “cosy” room which was fine in terms of size for what we needed. However the room was right at the back of the building and accessed via 7 sets of stairs (6 up and 1 down) and 6 fire doors. As we were taken further and further into the warren we started laughing it was so ridiculous! It was also over the open entrance to the adjacent pub, The Harbour Inn. This is a very busy place with live music for the two nights we stayed. After the music finished there is a crowd outside the pub until 12.30am. It is impossible to sleep as the sound insulation is zero. It sounds like the musicians and punters are in the room with you! These rooms should not be used on these days particularly in a heatwave! They are also all but inaccessible for limited mobility or for those who are nervous about getting out in a hurry! We arrived at 10.00am for breakfast on the Sunday having been verbally told the previous day that it went on until 10.30. The buffet was empty. A real disappointment all round for us.

El hotel estaba en un mal estado de conservación. Moquetas sucias y antiguas, ventanas que no cerraban correctamente, paredes con problemas en la pintura. Incluso no pudimos dejar las maletas en ningún sitio ya que teniamos el vuelo tarde. Nos dijeron que las dejaramos en medio del lounge sin ningún tipo de seguridad. Precio extremadamente caro para lo que ofrecen.

We loved the location. The room was lovely and we loved the decor. The staff were very kind and carried our bag up the stairs which was much appreciated.

A very pleasant place to stay in a fabulous location.

The room we stayed in at The Old Customer House was well equipped and overlooked the Harbour. This did mean that it was very noisy with loud music from the pub next door well into the early morning. Breakfast was extremely poor, lack of choice, not restocked, no cups, plates, glasses, teapots and everything seemed like too much effort for the waiter who was on the shift. Given that a one night stay was almost £245 at the time of staying I would have expected more.

The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend.

Very good location and good breakfast. This place is highly overpriced, the rooms and other spaces need to be renovated. Avoid rooms situated close to neighbouring pub during weekends. Noicy. My first room ( 20) were in a really bad shape but I could change with good help from the staff.

Great location on the harbour. Definitely on the shabby side, common areas could use some redecoration and carpets, but the room was nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Overall a great place to stay for a few days, we would stay again.

Like a rabbit Warren to find our room they promise up grade next winter. We had a view of aircon fans and walls.

So much character! Clean room, very friendly staff, great bar lucky to catch live music sea shanties no less. Breakfast was excellent and fresh, location exceptional.
