Hospitality of the staff, great breakfast and dinner, the very nice onsen, the very peaceful calming environment.

A remote ryokan in the achi region. We were looking for a place to stay in Expedia around Tsumago and that was a bit far. I would say it was average, a bit run down, with friendly staff that knew no English. Pretty good dinner and a good breakfast.
