It was a comfort stay, nice staff and convenient location just in the airport. It's perfect for business trip.

Couldn't order diner because the kitchen closed early, and the male staff member was very rude and unprofessional about it. He then closed the bar early, even while there was a line of people still checking in, and waiting to order. Then to top off the rude and unprofessional staff member, the bed felt like it had been acquired from an op shop 20 years ago and dressed with linen that stunk. Very disappointed

We stayed here for a night to stop off on the way up coast. It was perfect for what we wanted, just a place to sleep for the night before heading off in the morning. The room was clean and perfect for the night. It had free parking for guests and right next to the airport for those travelling by plane. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Needs to have microwave in the rooms also.

I have regularly stayed at this motel for many years. The current menu desperately needs a make over. I do not recommend the Moroccan salad - you get a bowl of salad leaves with a few slices of tomatoes and a sprinkling of chickpeas and quinoa. For $25, it’s way overpriced. This version of Moroccan Salad was nothing like I’ve had at this motel in the past. It was based on chickpeas with quinoa, herbs and chopped tomato mixed through it. You also had the option of adding a side dish of grilled chicken to it. I stayed here a couple of weeks later on my return trip home. This time I didn’t bother having my evening meal in the restaurant. I purchased a few Vietnamese rice paper rolls at the Brisbane airport instead, keeping them cool in a little insulated bag.

Great convenience to the trade area of Mackay Typically the A/C in a wet area does get a little smelly but apart from that ‘All Good’

Air conditioning was loud and rattling and struggled to cool, there was a greasy lubricant type substance on the bedside table, mould and grime in the shower floor.

Clean and tidy room. As a chef i can definitely recommend the restaurant and food. Great service and ease of check-in.👍

I think it was all an engineering issue. Entering the hotel, the lobby was un-airconditioned which made checking in a sweaty , uncomfortable affair. Apparently the engineering team switches that off as energy saving. Entering the room, 2 essential light bulbs were broken, the entry hall and the bathroom. Finally, the air-conditioning was so noisy that it was almost impossible to sleep. Dirty filters and small outlets. It was convenient but I would never choose it again.

All fine but i feel shower was too small.

the bed was ok and the room clean but the shower leaked, the AC wasn't cold enough and there was no milk for coffee

Good facilities and restaurant

Stay was ok, room clean, staff pleasant. Bathroom and shower in particular was small. Car parking a pain, no park spots left so was directed to short stay car park and advised my ticket would be validated. That didn’t work and had quite the mess trying to get out of the car park.

5 star review from me for the staff during my stay, dealt with 3 different members during my 2 night stay - all very helpful and kind. There would be a 5 star from me if the hotel had conditioner &/or moisturizer in the rooms. Only shampoo and body wash in those refillable wall bottles. They had a few extra things available to purchase from reception (deodorant/razors etc...) but sadly no conditioner. I have shorts stays in Mackay regularly - This is the best place I've stayed at in Mackay for a while (staff & cleanliness wise). Just remember to pack your own conditioner & moisturizers next time.

Quick and easy access from Mackay airport. Clean, modern, quiet and comfortable rooms. Nice dining and bar area.
