Very quiet and reasonable

Plenty of room. Nice water pressure in the shower. Very nice little kitchen.

The place was confortable for the five of us, staff was friendly and ready to help us.

This was a perfect stop for us and our dogs on the way to Nova Scotia for the summer. The owners are a delight. The price is very reasonable, the set-up for making a simple meal is fine. It's very basic but if that's what you and your dogs ($10 per dog) need, it can't be beat. And makes a great stopover on the way to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and the other islands up that way.

Water

As always our stay was perfect. We use the Milford Motel on the River because its super convenient for us. Its close to our inlaws and close to town. When we had to cancel our last trip the Motel called me to make sure everything was okay, and that nothing major happened.

This property is very quiet and clean.Would definitely stay here again

This was an amazing time here, I stayed two days with my dog! The owner was really friendly and kind. This motel is a little Gem in Milford only 1 hour and 20 mins from Bar Harbor. It’s cute, safe and comfortable! Every room was unique. They are like apartments and would definitely stay again!

Lady was very friendly.

Really liked the comfort of the bed. My wife has back pain due to spinal problems and she found the bed very comfortable. Check-in was initially a bit questionable as it was not certain if I had a reservation although one had been made a week earlier. It was eventually found - all good.

We were pleasantly surprised that our room had a kitchenette. Very clean and neat. Only thing we were disappointed with was the lack of the river view due to shrubbery and wooded growth out our window, but would happily stay there again !!

The bed was very comfortable and resulted in a good sleep.

Liked the practical efficiency of the room with kitchen table, comfortable reading chair, warm blankets, and tv. Also the deck looking out toward the river was quite nice. Didn’t like how old - almost dingy- the rug in the room was and overall worn look of the motel.

It was just what my mother and I needed for visiting family. Just a heads up, the o toilets are low if you are differently able. I will definitely be back!

This is an older Motel which was more than adequate. It had everything I needed and was clean and safe. Best of all it had a small balcony which looked out at the Penobscot River. It was just what I was looking for, and the owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you.

The owners were welcoming. The room was spacious and quiet. The motel is a little older but the rooms also have some updated touches. It’s clean and comfortable and the second floor rooms have a small deck. It is also close drive to some great restaurants.

Cozy accommodation. Great amenities. Our unit came with a kitchenette, making it convenient for us to prepare our own meals. It's kind of a drive to get to restaurants, a convenience store, and a grocery store, but the area is really pretty, and the motel is situated next to the Penobscot River.

Friendly and charming. Off the beaten path.

Excellent motel. Lynn was so very nice and both were very accommodating. We had been traveling for 11 days and needed a washer and dryer. Their facilities were perfect. Super clean and super quiet. Would definitely recommend this motel and we will return next time.

Very quiet slept like a baby! Unusual for mw at a motel.
