We had a big beautiful room in this lovley place. Deliscious food and very friendly staff. Short walk to the beach.

Lovely cosy country pub, friendly staff, perfect to chill outside and watch the world go by on a warm sunny day. The roads leading to the pub are very narrow but there are plenty of passing places. The beach is not far and is not too crowded and has a lovely beach cafe/bar. We stayed for 3nts and intended to visit different places for dinner in the evening but didn't see anywhere nearby that tempted us away from this lovely pub. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed for one night, and everything was wonderful. The property, the room, and the outdoor spaces were all beautiful and very well maintained. Although we didn't travel with our dog this time, it was great to see how pet-friendly the hotel is. Dogs are welcome in almost all areas, with the exception of the main restaurant, which was a big plus for us and makes us even more likely to return in the future.

Quite possibly the best Inn I ever have stayed at. Incredibly cozy, good food, great staff and top tier accommodation 10/10! Tight drive to get there in a larger car or people carrier with the narrow country lanes but all worth it! Would definitely visit again!

Very nice and very special to stay at such on old guesthouse. Lots of people visiting this day in May 2026 with +30 degrees but the staff managed to serve all the guests in a good way. We had a very nice dinner, good sleep and excellent breakfast the next day. The Masons Arm experience was thumps up and we recommend.

Great pub super location but the restaurant part needs looking at had English breakfast twice and it started at 8am we sat down at 8.05 and the bacon, sausage, hash brown were rock hard and a lot of people were asking for yogurt but were told sorry but delivery was late (3 days late) Would we go again. Yes

Loved staying at Masons Arms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant on sure for both dinner and breakfast the following morning. Can go for walks from the pub.will visit again!

Very comfortable beds, good food, beer and wine list, and all set in a beautiful location.

Overall a great stay. Friendly staff, nice room and nice food. Comfy bed. Great location. Parking was difficult. The room was very warm and there wasn’t a thermostat to make it cooler. Even after turning the radiator off it was still uncomfortably warm (it was early April, outside temp around 10 degrees). We asked at reception and they confirmed that the room didn’t have a thermostat. The people in the room above us made quite a lot of noise and there was little sound proofing (very creaky floor boards). Luckily it stopped after the first night.

Wonderful staff, nothing is too much trouble. Great food and really comfortable rooms.

Very warm welcome from all the friendly staff. My room was external to the pub but it was lovely and warm (despite freezing temperatures outside) it was nice and spacious and had lovely facilities, nice bathroom and very clean. The walk from village to beach and the surrounding little narrow lanes are great if a tad challenging and I would recomend a stay here.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by all of the staff. A huge thanks to Connar who couldnt do enough for us. Gorgeous place to stay. Spacious room ( room25). Food was delicious and good sized portions. Great place to stay and 15 min walk to the beach.

Our four night stay at the Masons Arms was a dream come true. We first saw the pub/hotel 49 years ago and were delighted to finally have an opportunity to stay here. The room was wonderfully cosy in the inn and its recent updates were much appreciated. The shower was great and the towel heater was a treat for this Canadian! We had our breakfasts and dinners in house and the food was delicious. The location of the Masons Arms is perfect. Walks to the beach, up Beer Head, along the road to the church and up the lanes. The staff was very helpful especially on the odd occasion when we couldn't find a spot to park the car. They always managed to sort it out for us. We can hardly wait to return. Thank you.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Rooms would benefit from better lighting especially in the wardrobes and the addition of drawers.
