The check-in for this property is very problematic. Note that their credit card reader doesn’t always work. And they are very lucky if you try to pay with cash about the condition of your bills. The slightest crease on a bill and they won’t take it. This makes paying for the property difficult and a completely unnecessary headache.

Had to wait over an hour past posted check in time. Was told some story about the AC, but, seems it was housekeeping as the floors were wet when we finally checked in. Room was run down..biggest issue was that neither of the two showers drained properly. In fact, sewage came up and created an offensive odor. This was reported to the front desk and repairs were attempted, but not done properly. So, the room still smelled BAD. Also, the workman left a BIG mess. I had to go to the front desk to ask to have it cleaned. While the manager was interested in our stay, all he did was provide a late day fruit plate! No thanks. Avoid this place. It is over priced for what you get. One of my worst stays ever.

Had an amazing stay with super friendly staff who were really helpful with recommendations for things to do around Unawatuna and a very generous driver who was able to take us around Galle during our short stay here. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of foods from authentic Sri Lankan cuisine to western dishes as well. 10/10 reccommend :)

Wonderful view on edge of ocean and jungle. Excellent staff

Overall disappointing, I’d say this is more 2 star, 3 at a push! Room initially had a blocked toilet, no bath or hand towels in the bathroom, 3 hangers for 2 people, warm bar on roof top bar, room condition was pretty warn, needs a good refurb, felt a bit grubby compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka. Manager was good and helped where we needed.

Probably the best hotel in unawatuna. 2 pools, one of them sea water pool was amazing. Views of ocean and waves crashing is break taking. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Our stay was just as the coronavirus was breaking out. We had to return to the UK after 1 day at the hotel. I would like to praise Roshan and his team for the very efficient and friendly assistance and understanding of our specific situation during a very challenging time. We hope to return!!

Found this resort after having to move out of a complete disaster (Jungle Village by Thawthisa), what a pleasant surprise! Has the combination of being at the end of Unawatuna Beach, so feels and looks like it is out on its own, but within easy walking distance of all the beach amenities. Room with a great sea & sunset view. Two beautiful pools & great breakfast, a lovely stay overall.

Hotel located at a very good location , however the road to the hotel is very narrow and a lot of traffic. Our overall stay was excellent and the ocean front rooms were great . Great food and overall experience .

Fint hotel - der dog ikke lever helt op til 5 stjerner. Vi bookede en suite med to soveværelser, men ville gerne have været informerede om at der ikke var udsigt og stort set ingen vinduer. Rummet i sig selv var fint - stort i to etager med dejlige senge og fine møbler. Restauranten er ok og servicen er helt i top. Du kan ikke bade i havet foran pga. klipper, men hotellet tilbyder en gratis shuttle til stranden. De to pools er fine og baren på 3. sal har en fantastisk udsigt. Så alt i alt et fint ophold. Ville dog aldrig vælge det samme værelse igen - det bliver for indelukket.

Spectacular setting next to the sea. Very good food and service. Great pools and a very nice sports bar with an excellent pool table. Very gracious and helpful staff who went out of their way for us. Highly recommended!

Nice property right by the beach in a secluded area. Everything is pretty clean and we were attended to all the time. The room was spacious and a baby cot was ready for us as per our request. It's an excellent product and the rate, though a bit expensive for Sri Lanka's cost of life, is in line with the services and amenities. It's not a big hotel chain of course but the staff are friendly, courteous and genuinely happy. There are a few things to improve here and there but these are minor points. Highly recommandable.
