The property itself was nice and the staff was extremely helpful. However, the room itself looked different than the pictures and appeared older. The bathroom also smelled strongly of urine.

Excelente opção na descida das Hightlands. Uma pequena vila charmosinha. Fomos apenas para passar a noite e seguimos viagem após o café. Tudo correto.

Gutes Hotel. Late Checkout leider schon um 12 Uhr, da wäre 14 Uhr besser gewesen. Leider keine Möglichkeit für Gepäck zum deponieren, das war mässig. Aber gutes Restaurant im Hotel und nette Bar. Kommen wieder.

Recension av Best Western Crianlarich Hotel Vi bodde här en natt under vår vandring och helhetsintrycket var… okej. Rummet var i standard med vad man kan förvänta sig – lite gammaldags, men rent. Maten och frukosten var också helt okej, inget som stack ut men fullt godkänt. Däremot blev vi riktigt besvikna på servicen. Dagen efter kom vi tillbaka till hotellet av misstag (vi hade tagit fel buss) och behövde vänta på taxi. Personalen hjälpte oss att ringa, men väntetiden blev hela 1,5 timme. Under tiden frågade vi om vi kunde köpa frukost. Trots att det fanns en uppdukad buffé med kaffe, te och enklare mat, fick vi nej – med hänvisning till att frukosten var fullbokad inför ett busslass. Vi var två personer som bara ville ta en kopp kaffe och kanske en toast medan vi väntade. Att det inte gick att lösa, trots situationen, kändes både stelt och ovänligt. Det är just sådana små saker som gör stor skillnad – och här brast det helt. Sammanfattning: Okej boende och mat, men en service som tyvärr drar ner helhetsintrycket rejält.

We stayed one night, great little hotel, nice size room with bathroom (bath & shower). Staff are lovely and friendly, great customer service. We had dinner in the hotel, food was delicious. Plenty parking on site. Very close to station too.

Traditional hotel with comfortable rooms, nice restaurant and great breakfast. Friendly staff make you feel welcome. Comfortable lounge and bar, ample parking outside. The hotel is a short walk to the station for anyone taking the really scenic train trips to Oban and Fort William. Really enjoyed my stay.

Friendliest service I had in years. Great and clean room. Old, charming building. Very good food , dinner and breakfast. And - beautiful nature just outside the door. I will come back with my wife !

There was a storm and subsequent power outage, the hotel was closed when we arrived at 2:30pm. I received an email explaining the situation, but didn't have wifi.

Staff was nice, surface areas were clean but a lot of dust, mould and gunk buildup in the corners of the bathroom and on the curtains. Carpet in the room was really old and stained. Shower was ancient and hard to moderate the temperature but bonus points that it was hot. The place desperately needs an update or at the very least, a deep cleaning. It’s labelled as a 3 star but presents more like a 2 star.

Breakfast was really good, very nice hotel inside great decor, old charm

Staff and service were all excellent! They really welcomed us and our dog and couldn’t do enough for us. Unfortunately the room we were allocated was in a poor condition and was tiny! Really only suitable for 1 person l, not 2 plus a dog. Room very dated and not particularly clean and was nothing like the pictures on the website. This really was our only gripe but meant that we did not sleep well enough. Otherwise the parking, food, area all great.
