The resort very is nicely maintained including garden and well kept rooms. A very very courtious staff. Though the food is average but , considering the town, its better than other places.

We were quite pleased with the two different Summit hotels we stayed in. The Summit Barsana location was quiet and had a beautiful view. The staff was very helpful in all things we needed including advice on tourist activities. Our room was quite spacious for the price and had great decorations. Breakfast was also included! Great deal.

Kalimpong has deteriorated from a romantic gateway as it used to be in the last century to a dirty and muddy hill town. The hotel provided a little bit of respite amongst all the outside noise and chaos. The yard is nice and provides a beautiful view of the hills. The food is particularly good, especially the Bhutanese and local selection and the service at the restaurant just awesome. The head waiter Praveen is courteous and always mindful of your convenience and desire.
