Great location and exceptional Italian food to try here!

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel. It has a really quiet and tranquil setting on a nice stretch of beach. There were a number of turtles in the sea just by the hotel. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had some nice meals at the property. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. We ate in the restaurant at night, amazing food & good wine. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Good breakfast. Lovely big room with loads of space. Loved being able to sunbathe overlooking the sea. The staff were amazing. The highlight of the stay was seeing the wild turtles in the sea right outside. The staff took seaweed to feed them. Such an amazing experience. Already planning our next stay here.

We were given a room at the entrance of the property. it didn't have a garden or ocean view. The issue is much beyond this. As soon as we entered the room, there was a pungent smell. There was visible mould on the door, door frame and on the walls. the mould was painted over to hide it however, it was showing. This was a very unsafe experience and the room should not be listed or given to any patrons. We didn't have an option and it was very unsafe situation to be in. Do not recommend that you stay in that room. i can't comment on the rest of the rooms. The garden is nice and the ocean view is great. there is a very tiny beach in the back, rest is sharp rocks.

WB Villa is one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. It was right by the beach without anyone other than very pleasant locals nearby. The suite was tastefully decorated, the breakfast just right, the service top notch. I really felt like I was staying at a beautiful home away from home. Thank you WB Villa and all the staff.

Vi tilbragte nætter på dette fantastiske sted. Vi boede i brudesuiten og var eneste gæster på hotellet. Vi nød afslapning i haven med den smukkeste udsigt til havet og de mange kæmpeskilpadder, der hele tiden kom op til overfladen efter luft. Maden var super god og servicen fantastisk. Vi føler, at vi havde tre unikke dage her, og vi vil helt sikkert komme tilbage, hvis det bliver muligt en anden gang. Vi anbefaler til alle som søger afslapning i rolige omgivelser lige ned til havet.

Отличная вилла с классным сервисом. Лучшая итальянская кухня на побережье и идеальный пляж. Придраться можно лишь к двум вещам: с утра будят бурундуки, а цены на еду и напитки могли бы быть поменьше.

This was our last night of a 2 week trip all over Sri Lanka. During our holiday we had experienced the best customer service, and we felt so welcomed, when we arrived at WB we had a very different experience. The biggest thing was check out. On here it said noon check out, and they told us we had to leave at 11 because the next guest was checking in. As we packing up they even pointed out to us that the next guest had arrived and even put their luggage outside of our villa door. We felt very rushed and it was like we were a burden. I would say this is false advertisement. The place is gorgeous outside, the rooms are very dated and the bed and bedding weren’t that comfortable. The beach area is nice, however there was constantly someone trying to sell us drugs or a tuk tuk ride. They said breakfast started at 8, no one was around at 8 and they didn’t show up to unlock the place until 8:15. The best part of our stay was dinner, we had the glass house to ourselves and it was delicious. With better customer service, and an update the the villa decor and bedding this could easily be an awesome experience.

What an amazing Gem of a hotel. Service was fantastic. The food was to die for. A little Italian paradise in the beautiful Unawatuna. We will be back!!

Et meget hyggeligt hotel med kun 2 værelser beliggende direkte til vandet med fon strand - et rev gør det forholdsvis sikkert at bade, dejlig italiensk restaurant, god morgenmad, Meget behageligt personale, så kan varmt anbefale stedet.

We had an amazing stay! The beach is right out front, where we went swimming and snorkeling. Food at the Italian restaurant was fabulous and authentically made. It was our second trip back here and still loving every second of it!

Wunderschöne Anlage, exzellentes Essen, traumhafter Strand vor der Tür, ideale Situation auch mit Kleinkind, geschmackvolle Suite, unaufdringlicher und zuvorkommender Service! Beim nächsten Sri Lanka Besuch kommen wir auf alle Fälle wieder!!!

We had a perfect stay at WB villa. The bungalow was fantastic with extreme care for details, service was wonderful, the food was excellent and we could swim in a small lagoon right in front of the hotel
