Trouble with the shade but staff quickly fixed it. Nice breakfast with low carb items. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Good linens.

This hotel was awesome, and so was the staff. Really friendly. Nice and quiet. Definitely would stay here again.

The American Inn in Iowa Falls is a comfortable, clean motel providing decent sleeping accommodations and a good breakfast.

The property was clean and well-kept; the room clean, comfortable and spacious; and that staff were fabulous. They offered a nice light breakfast and the desk staff were very helpful.

Good staff and clean rooms we stay here two three times a year

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Sausage gravy with biscuits, bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs and pancake machine. The check in process on line was very long and I felt like they asked for a lot of unnecessary information. I was disappointed with the condition of the hotel. We stayed here 6 years ago and NOTHING has changed. Our room door was very heavy and hard to open. You had to slam it to get it to lock. The toilet was sluggish and had to be flushed twice every time. I was afraid it would completely clog off. The credit card reader on the vending machines weren’t working. The pool was enclosed but not heated so it was still very cold. Unfortunately there aren’t many choices in hotels and this is still the best option if you want to stay in Iowa Fallls.

This was a clean and friendly stay. Beds were comfortable, loved the blackout blinds and for how busy it was it was quiet! Kids loved the pool and playing pool! Breakfast was a hit and there was plenty! Definitely will stay here again. Worth the few extra dollars!

Room not clean…. Wrappers noted under foot stool/chair. Shower dirty with hair fragments noted along the edge. Couldn’t shut floor light off and room not dark.

easy to find, easy parking. Mice room. Employees were great and fantastic to deal with. Will for sure stay there again.

Nice enough place. Didn't care much for the lacking elevator for our 2nd floor room.

With a broken ankle, I learn quick when places have the shortest of all toilet options. Replacing toilets to taller ones would help folks with injury or aging to enjoy their stay more. Otherwise, great place.

The breakfast was very lacking. The coffee was cold and so was the food.

We stayed here for my daughter’s birthday and booked one of their jacuzzi rooms. Needless to say we had a blast! I swear this is one of the last hotels in existence to have a pool hot tub as well as jacuzzis in the hotel suites. Will be returning next year so long as the amenities remain the same!

Nice place, room wasn’t ready, reservations were for supposed to be for a jacuzzi but it didn’t have one and the price was too high.
